Do you think Saban is going to allow Sark to build his own offensive staff? Is Urban going to let Warinner fire who he wants so he can bring in his own guys? Is Gus going to give Chip Lindsey a green light to bring in his own guys? Sounds absurd, doesn't it?

Orgeron is not saban or Meyer or even malzhan. It's a good thing he knows it

It is a good thing that he knows that.

But Canada has been with LSU for less than two months, and Orgeron isn't about to put his own job on the line by allowing him to have full control over the offensive staff.

Craig and Juluke simply didn't get it done when it mattered - and that's why they're being released.

After most coaching changes the new HC only keeps 1 guy or 2 max. Just someone who knows where the keys are, some recruiting ties, etc.

This was to be expected and the timing shows it was pre-planned just waiting on the recruiting cycle to end.

All of these coaches were proceeded by a successful OC with a competent offense. All of these OCs made the decision to leave something successful for a different opportunity. We fired our OC mid season because he was an idiot. Apples and Oranges.

If Canada turns the offense around and our defense stays strong, LSU getting kids won't be a problem for any coach.

So why did Orgeron jettison Craig and Juluke? Sources close to Coach O say it's nothing more than his desire to surround himself with his own hires because he apparently values loyalty above all else.

Talent hasn't been the problem. We've had plenty of talent. The problem has been a 1930's offense. That's why Canada was brought in.

Every insider and reporter is putting out the same statement - Orgeron and Thomas weren't happy with Juluke and Craig's performance over the last few months. This is about Orgeron putting together his own staff with his own guys.

I'm not sure why you're so insistent on perpetuating your own delusion.

Craig was an asset.. Can O find better ? Sure but I hope he knows what he's doing here.. Craig has always been a solid recruiter and he's been on some successful football teams as an asst.

People get paid to have an explanation. Even when they are clueless. I listened to the same rhetoric on talk radio. I'm just posting here, what I got months ago. Hey I understand how difficult it is to not get caught up in the bull

1 RB 1 FB and 2 WR--- this is the reason they are gone. And they should be.

Juluke was told back in late December that Canada would be making the decision on whether he would be returning.

Yep. What Coach O is doing is what he said he failed to do at Ole miss. Canada is in charge lights and coach O is in charge of the flooring. Building a house together and leaving the areas he's not coaching directly to his staff. Not exact quote but close enough. Lol

One concern the head coach has in this scenario is recruiting. Think they weighed their options and decided to go another route. Not saying either is a poor recruiter but they are looking for a total package.

I don't give a shite about his guys, if people in New Orleans think coach O is putting his 'Good Ole Boys' in as coaches, he will began losing every kid from the N.O, you guys don't remember when the thought process in the early 90's was that LSU didn't value the black coaches and kids of the state, this could be the beginning of the end ! May God Have Mercy On Our Soul!

Canada has his salary doubled, tripled, he's coming from Pittsburg to LSU & HE has leverage? He jumped at this job & there is no way in hell he demanded anything from Coach O. Obviously he may have a say so but he's not calling the shots by any means.
