CWS wants LSU Arky as their primetime.
Seedings fair? It is what it is.

Saturday night. 6pm. All eyes on this game.

All eyes on LSU.

Pressure is a privilege.

let’s send their arses to the elimination bracket and create all the momentum we need to win this thang.

I’m very more than happy with how things turned out…

We’re in Omaha

There are plenty of dangerous and venomous teams there too, but I’d prefer that instead of a potential 6 out of 8 team SEC tournament 2.0

And we get Arkansas game 1 with Kade Anderson on full rest to drop them to losers bracket.

I would have signed up for this exact opportunity 100 times out of 100 the day before the season started.

Agree with you 100%. This is what we as LSU baseball fans wait for. Let’s send them to the losers bracket then finish it off for number 8

the big arse park in Omaha is a perfect place for Anderson to excell in considering most of the runs he gives up are homers. if we get good games from our aces then I think we have a good chance to stay out of the elimination bracket . we also have Evans and noot as starters if needed. maybe even Cowan if he gets it back. teams haven't figured Cowan out ,hes just leaving his changeup up in the zone

You have the winner’s take.

LSU is arguably the best baseball program in America and our fans need to act like injustices are opportunities.

Just go win. Just go pull for the team.

Kudos for using “venomous” correctly. The “venomous” team would bite you.

Most folks would say “poisonous” teams. A “poisonous” team would kill you if you bit them.

I’m already excited for it just watching from home. This is a big one from the get go. Top 3 betting favorites

Arkansas +195
LSU +240
Coastal Carolina +600

Whoever comes out on top in our first game will be a big favorite to win it all

It's more about the prevailing winds, which tend to blow in this time of year(as I understand), so they limit shorter home runs, though TD Ameritrade it is larger than Alex Box.

TD Ameritrade (CWS)
Foul Lines 335
Power Alleys 375
Center 408
Height of Fence
Surface
Elevation

Skip Bertman Field@Alex Box (LSU)
Foul Lines 330
Power Alleys 365
Center 405
Height of Fence 10
Surface Grass
Elevation 20

Most fans are great. Many on this board are pissed LSU is winning and proving them wrong. They won't be a seed, they won't get out of a regional, they will never win a super, oh wait...

There's no "injustice". The tournament bracket was seeded accordingly at the start. In theory, all teams seeded 1-8 had the inside track to reach the CWS. LSU, as the 6th seed was matched up to play the 3 seed (in this case Arkansas). Despite the advantage of being the hosts and top seed in the regional (and SR if they advanced past the regional) he teams seeded 1, 2, 4, 5, 7 all lost and were eliminated. LSU and Arkansas didn't. But that is how tournaments work. The winners advance to the next round. That doesn't mean LSU (or Arkansas) has suffered any "injustice" by having to play one another in the first game. To the contrary. Them playing was another in the first game was EXACTLY how it should have worked (in theory) given both were national seeds.

I believe you and I had the right idea with the word injustice is in quotations.

Yep. In Alex Box, and Rosenblatt Stadium (RIP) home plate faced NE. Summer winds are often out of the south

In TD Ameritrade home plate faces SE...which means many times the wind is blowing in.

ESPN Sports Science (RIP) did a show about it several years back when TD Ameritrade first opened. The average wind in Omaha, in June, is about 9 mph out of the south. That means in TD Ameritrade batters are often facing a 9 mph wind blowing "in". That, depending on the exact wind speed could result in a 10-20 foot difference in how far the ball travels compared to the old Blatt and even Alex Box which has a helping wind in the summer.

Remember when LSU looked poised for a 3 peat in 1998 before a sudden cold front brought winds howling in at Rosenblatt? At TD Ameritrade batters wouldn't mind a bit of a cool front

It’s a different feeling heading to Omaha knowing we’re playing Arkansas a Murray State.

LFG!

Poisons are ingested, which can be via swallowing, inhaling, or absorbing them.

Or you could also just touch them or smell them.
