2009 Washington in Seattle
2010 UNC in Atlanta
2011 Oregon in Arlington
2012 was the return trip from Washington
2013 TCU in Arlington
2014 Wisconsin in Houston
2015 McNeese at home cancelled due to weather
2016 Wisconsin in Green Bay
2017 BYU in New Orleans moved from Houston
2018 Miami in Arlington
2019 Texas in Austin
2020 covid axed the return Texas trip
2021 UCLA at Rose Bowl
2022 FSU in New Orleans
2023 FSU in Orlando
2024 USC in Vegas
2025 at Clemson

finally, after a long drought LSU will host Clemson in 2026 assuming conference realignment doesn't axe that game

So lame we didn't get a true home and home with Wisconsin. Their fans were fun as frick in Green Bay. Wish I could have experienced Madison instead.

In 100 degree heat that feels like 110? Sounds awesome.

Was actually a Home game vs UNT and game 2 was Washington.

This was game 2, game 1 was LSU at Home vs Georgia Southern.

It’s gonna be nice to open in Vegas!

You know how many CFB fans will have eyes in LSU Sunday? Great PR move.

Pay the money that LSU is getting for these nonconference neutral site games, then maybe you'll have a chance. There is a lot of risk playing a good team week one. If schools weren't getting paid a ton of money for these week 1 matchups, no one would have them.

Then you’re but talking about opening the year at home. You’re talking about two different things.

We opened with North Texas

I get it, having an Oregon State, Washington, or Arizona at home to start the season was fun, but sometimes you get an opener like Virginia Tech on the road and get your teeth kicked in. I actually like the big time neutral site games, especially if it's in a dome. It's frickin hot on Labor Day weekend in BR. The big neutral site kickoff games do wonders for exposure for the program and in recruiting. It also gives some of our guys experience in these big stadiums where we might have a future playoff/bowl game. I'd rather play a big time school in a neutral site than open up with a North Texas or McNeese at home.

That would have been awesome, I wish this FSU series would have been a home and home also.

You get those games all season long in the SEC who cares if it’s the first game of the year vs a top team at home. I rather not play any top teams to kick off the season just to say we did.

Follow the money.

These neutral site games make way more money than a home game.
