It took 3 days for the SEC to act

And I don’t necessarily disagree with the move.
The problem is, we are entering year 6 of the unmitigated disaster that is the transfer portal + NIL era and there has been absolutely nothing done in the way of setting up a framework for what is and isn’t allowed..
No movement on transfer limits, a salary cap, some type of contract structure for participation, etc.
I’m not sure what else could bring the necessary attention and urgency than Nick Saban himself testifying to congress? Still no impact whatsoever on the boys in Birmingham.
I love watching LSU football, but the passion I had for CFB pre Covid may never return given the disaster that currently exists.

Three days to get all the chancellors to agree on a policy isn't that bad.

This is the great reset of college athletics, soon as money was involved (legally) it changed the whole dynamic. The rules will be made up on the fly until a base set of rules are established by all involved.
