Winning is never enough around here is it? All you participation trophy baws will find something to bitch about. And there is the old reliable, "you can't do that........... and win later" mantra.

I remember when, "winning the close ones" was the benchmark for a good team.

Florida got three straight threes. They couldn’t miss

They were also given the opportunity for those threes bc our team doesn't understand how to protect the ball and close out games. In the last 3 minutes we exercised poor shot selection and made lazy passes that allowed Florida to even have the opportunity to make it close.

While we're all applauding being undefeated at this point (a wonderful feat, no doubt), let's also understand that if the officials put .6 on the clock instead of .5, we would have lost the game.

lets also understand this team has zero star power...look at the stats, can you name one player that stands out...its a team by committee, somebody steps up each game and they find ways to win...I say just enjoy the ride!!!

They did not eat clock to limit the possessions available to Florida. This is their biggest mistake. At some point in every game your opponent becomes the clock. With a ten point lead and one minute to play it is your best friend, if behind by ten it is your biggest obstacle. Last night, LSU refused to burn the clock like they should have but instead rushed three possessions when they could have been sent to the free throw line instead. Lets hope they have learned a lesson.

Not to bitch about one particular player by name, but in terms of perimeter defense... we win that game going away if Manning is on the floor.

Have no idea why Smart didn't switch, it wasn't like you couldn't see the screen coming.
Luckily the guy let go of it too late.

If we want to make some noise in march were gonna have to learn how to close games out. guess some people are just complacent with winning

Just remember we have an extremely shallow bench.
These kids are all go for most of the game without much chance to get a breather when we for all practical purposes play 6 per game.
When you are exhausted you get lax and lazy and simply slow down. Passes, cuts, etc. aren't as crisp.
I guess I AM making excuses for the guys, but I think they've done incredibly for what they are.
I didn't hear anyone bitching about Smart's stupid decisions last night.
Because he got it cleaned up last night.
It'll be great if that continues.
I see improvement to some extent game to game.
The team is far from perfect, but I appreciate the energy and effort game in and game out.
That alone gives them a chance to make a moderate run in the tourney as a ceiling IMO.
Look out if we start sinking 3's.
Days sure is trying lol.
