This team has lost confidence in the offense. Etling is a chance at renewing some hope. The team could hit the reset button mentally. It's really our best chance at still making noise this season. Do it, Les/Cam!

He's not a dual threat. Therefore, he'll never see the field even though he's the perfect quarterback for this team.

It wont matter who is behind center. Until the O-line can do their job and until the offensive philosophy changes, you will ALWAYS get the same results.

1st first down of the SEC championship game was in the 3rd quarter. Miles did not pull the QB.

LSU could not move the ball past midfield in the 21-0 national embarrassment of all time in LSU's history. Miles did not pull the QB.

Etling will not play this year unless it is in garbage time.

IT'S NOT THE frickING PLAYERS!!! It's the head retard in charge. Different coaches. Same old shite. Better players. Same old shite. Doesn't matter who starts at QB. Nothing will change until he is gone.

Our tackles do need to play better, but you only have to remember back to Mettenberger to see what kind of offense we could have if our OC and HC trust his arm and grasp of the offense.

Let's do this.

It's hilarious how people think it's the actual Qb

If Alabama had our players they would have curb stomped Wisconsin yesterday.

It's hilarious how people can watch BH overthrow and float passes at the wrong time and think the QB is not a huge part of the problem.

Hell, he almost got LF's and that TE's knees separated from their bodies.

If the coaches trust Etling, why hasn't he seen the field? Dude couldn't start at Purdue, yet you think he'll lead LSU to the promised land. Lol

This. Last night Alabama put 2 TRUE Freshmen as QB. Both of then would have outclassed Harris and that includes one of them having his first play ever turn into a fumble. I'm sure the sunshine pumpers will tell us the usual excuse that Harris or whoever is QB, is just young and will get better next year.

Blake Simms looked good at Bama

Coker looked good at Bama

Those are two very poor qbs that were not even a thought to play in the NFL

So they, by having a competent coach, made two qbs who aren't very good look great. I could give countless other examples of this throughout college football.

We are getting 4* and 5* qbs. They would be absolutely fine at other schools.

I want Miles gone as much as anyone, but Harris' play yesterday was awful. Even on some of his completions, the balls were floating to the point that YAG was impossible. I'd let Ettling get reps, just to see if there is any improvement with him under center, because its almost impossible to get worse.

The one thing that has never changed at LSU is that the most popular player on the team is the back-up quarterback

Saban goes into games expecting to play multiple QBs in order to see them in real-game action. I say give each QB a couple of consecutive series and let's see what happens...

I'm all in.

Guy should at least get a few series in next week.
Let us see with our own eyes what kind of, if any potential he has.
