Jerry Stovall don’t know shite about marine survival then. Don’t paddle if you’re 25 miles out - you’ll only die quicker.

Your priorities in that situation is stay warm, find something that floats, conserve energy. You wanna last long enough that you’re still alive when help comes.

Go watch the tape, Nuss was way way late delivering the ball which brought that linebacker into the play.

that’s true. Sometimes it could be 3.

The biggest question is can he do that?

Five years of tape says he can't do this consistently, and is even worse against ranked opponents.

Well, he has had 2 in one game this year, so... no.

Kelly might want to emulate Miles’ treatment of his QBs
Post 2008 (Lee), Miles developed a punishing rush game to hide his mid QBs behind and keep the D fresh.
He opened it up a bit with the more talented Mett but if you saw a lot of pass attempts it was normally in a loss.

The o-line is not going to “gel.” They’re terrible and poorly coached.

Yes it is until it’s not. I bet he makes at least one brain dead interception. Hopefully it will not cost the game.

Yea that one was inconsequential. 3rd and 12, out of fg range, instant pressure it sails a bit. Think they ended with the ball somewhere around the 25. That’s no biggie but the one from the 9 just can’t happen.

Exactly. Nuss has to be better in his decisions but that int wasn't a big deal. The one on the goalline is the one he can and should cut out.

I am not a Nuss fan. Very few of us are

I'm no longer a huge fan of his either, but he's our starting QB and I'm going to support him as long as he's on the field.

Also, he improved a little bit last week, which does lend credit to the claim that he has been injured and is healing. I credit him for doing mostly good things last week. Those drops were not his fault. If he really is healing (which is what resulted in his improvement last week), then I predict he will have a much better game tomorrow.

You really can't coach that type of fumbling.

I’d rather any quarterback LSU had in the past 25 years over Nuss. Yea that includes Jefferson. At least he could run.
