This is typical Yahoo journalism. USA Today releases an original article. Then, some Yahoo shemale generates an op-ed disguised as an article based on the USA Today article.

I am no lawyer and know very little about law. If “The bootleg version of PINK” is essentially looping players cleared with those that have significant cases and implying their guilt, shouldn’t those cleared have cases against the author?

This is my e mail to the dyke

What on the frick did orgeron do wrong,he kicked every guy off the team besides guice because he wasnt authorized to do that as a position coach. Heads need to roll but it ain't orgerons head .title 9 department is at fault if he gave them all they needed.
Not surprised by the lack of knowledge by yahoo. Yall are, by far ,the worst written and researched sportswriters. Dan woken and pat forde are obsessed with lsu and they really wrote this ,I bet.

So what does coach do if the police drop charges, there never charged,or there found not guilty . So now yahoo sports is above the law huh? Guilty till yahoo sports proves you're innocent. You seriously want the coach fired over not kicking players off the team that were found to be innocent in court, and also players that weren't charged with anything. Who do yall think yall are . Some girls weren't believed by the grand jury . What's that tell u. If he reported to title 9 all these instances you should apologize for trying to ruin that man's life.

I am surprised, perhaps shocked even, that everyone...except one other poster on here...is pissed at Yahoo for the article.

Jesus y’all- most of us (I presume) are fathers on here- I don’t think what’s being reported is a culture on the team- but it’s obvious some bad things happened and someone in leadership at the University should have rolled some heads by now in a very unceremonious fashion to ensure that these things would NEVER happen again.

Such persons are able to hold mutually exclusive tenets in their feeble minds with NO problem. Wow that is an ugly, biased person.

I dont think anyone is saying that there shouldn't be anyone fired . But, if coach o reported all of the stuff to title 9 then those heads that need to roll arent in the football ops building.

How the frick does yahoo get to a place where o should be fired

Dude. Thank you. No one gets it. Literally no one gets that Orgeron has done what he can. He’s not the boss of the Title IX group at LSU. Everyone’s ready to chop his head off for things others did.

They want the program brought down. Firing Verge and the tennis coaches won’t do this.

FWIW, if O is found to have been in the wrong about something when the dust settles that is a completely different thing. I’m only talking about the knee jerk bullshite from this writer.

I wouldn't be surprised to see O let go for cause but that may be a reach.

I highly doubt they come up with enough cause to fore O that would hold up in court. That last part is key, because he would sue for every dime plus damages if this were done. It would have to be air tight and most schools have a bureaucracy built up to keep the head coaches firewalled from the stuff.
