Vitello is an alpha

Paul was not.

Some in this fanbase got used to seeing Paul’s weak, non alpha energy and when they see alpha energy like Vitello’s, they are scared of it and don’t want it at LSU.

No. I don't think anyone is going to take a lateral move here, and right now that's what Tenn is. I think pulling the coach from Texas Tech, ECU, or Louisville is our ceiling, and that ain't that bad.

If you think LSU Baseball is a lateral move from Tennessee Baseball, then you need to seek help for your TBI. Even one of the ESPN commentators (a Tennessee Alum) referred to the LSU job as the top job in college baseball. Check the fan support (attendance) as well as the facilities and the willingness to upgrade those facilities and then think agIn.

Small stadium. They will need to invest To keep him.

Most of his lineup is Jr-Sr. 7/9 of his top hitters are 3-4th year players. 2/3 starting pitchers are upperclassmen.

They’re gonna lost 60%+ of their production.

Vitello reminds me a bit of Saban - personality.
Sorry it already remarked but I have a job.

They’re just both assholes. Vitello is even whinier than saban is and his teams have less discipline.

That’s the first time I’ve seen you say that you’re hearing McDonnell… that’s promising!

A lot of you don't know squat. You think you do but it's laughable. Who ever is hired will be fine because he will be at LSU!!! I trust the powers that be.

Both beating LSU certainly is a common denominator between the two. Although holler back when Vitello starts demanding specific rule changes for the entire sport as a way to self serve the interests of his own program like Saban is famous for. I think the bottomline is one can't beat LSU in something and not be considered an a-hole.

I can never figure out if you people are just backwoods rednecks who have no idea how the world works or if you're just moronic boomers.

I guess it could be both.

It would be interesting if the next LSU Head Coach came from Notre Dame (Link Jarret?).

LSU attendance figures are BS. They lead in tickets sold, but would love to see actual attendance
