Experts? Or opinion writers?

Fair enough

Can you name one EXPERT that said, it was a great hire or rank him in the top of SEC coaches?

That's already started with his "be patient"

The "be patient" comment where he was talking specifically about people judging the offense IN THE SPRING GAME? Or was there another be patient comment that you can point me to?

It's mostly about the schedule, Au on the road, Florida on the road, Miami Neutral and State, Bama and Georgia at the house.
We also have a new QB and offensive coordinator which comes into play.
Not saying we can't have a good year but unrealistic fans are comparing this schedule to 2011 and saying we did it then. This team isn't as talented as that team but who knows.

QB - Unknown, Etling threw 2 picks all year, as limited as he was he didn't turn the ball over. Hopefully we can spread the defense for our running game and not turn the ball over
RB - less
OL - more at Tackle, better depth, same at guard
WR - Unknown, plenty of talent but maybe 20 catches for LSU between all of them
TE - Unknown and unproven but hoping, like every year they play a bigger role in the passing game.

DL - more (much more)
LB - more (could be one of our best classes in 10 years)
CB - same without Fulton, less depth
more with Fulton
S - more - return everyone, most stacked postition on the team

Special teams could be our biggest improvement.
Punter- Probably improve but should stay solid
Kicker - Hoping for a huge leap here
Cover teams, better here as well

No, but I can remember "experts" doubting the Saban hire.

I can also remember the LSU fans doubting Saban after the UAB game and after the Iowa bowl game.
Were you one of those doubters.
I'm sure you remember, "LSU made Saban" and "Saban won with Dinardo recruits".

Coaching from the top. O ranked in the very bottom of SEC Coaches. Instead of a Jimbo ranked 2nd, LSU went to the bottom of the barrel per the "experts".

Based on what?
What have Morris, Pruitt, Muschamp, Odom, Morehead, Luke, Stoops accomplished?

Bama, UGA, MSU at home. So sick of the schedule excuse.
TAMU opens with Clemson, AU with Washington. All of them play an sec west slate.

If the OL is better we will see the biggest gain in the RB area. Clyde and Curry will get it done impressively.

I think we're good on talent. Experience will be a test. I'm most worried about leadership, it's been a while since we had the right vocal leader on the field who the team actually got behind. Sorry Danny, you were an intense competitor, but you didn't carry the team to new heights in terms of leadership. Maybe Joe, maybe another QB fills that. Devin White should be better positioned to be that for the defense as well.
