Are you really trying to make the case that a team that gave up 25 free bases and committed 4 errors in 2 games played well? Seriously?

LSU was blasting the ball over the fence all weekend. You are going to walk more guys if you are in a hostile environment against a team that has a patient approach at the plate and you are trying to pitch around their hitters. When WVU left it over the plate, LSU smashed the ball. LSU put pressure on their staff.

On the flip side, WVU hit the ball well vs our staff. They have a really good lineup that is hard to contain. So did WVU hit the ball well or did our pitching staff just play bad?

I am sure you will just say that we pitched poorly and that our hitters suck and were just gifted 28 runs in 2 games

Arkansas is stacked. Check their record away from Baum. Pretty telling. When they leave Fayetteville they aren’t the same.

DVH is 0-9 in Omaha (8-14 record, 5x 2 and Q). Arkansas is 0-11 (2x runner-up) But he’s never been to Omaha as the highest seed remaining. They’ve also choked in the tournament in other years before the CWS too (#1 seed in 2021, lost to NC State in Supers). Do they choke again this year? All this to say Game 1 is going to be huge.

None of this means shite. "

Sure it does. This is a message board and people are discussing this topic because they enjoy doing just that. Seems easy enough to comprehend.

Why are we talking about Arkansas, baw? Focused on the Tigers. This year is the same for the Tigers as 2023. How bout that.

Exactly, get this BS out of here. Who cares about Arkansas being “different” or not this year, lol

Arkansas is in a GREAT position this year. They ran through a tough Super Regional. Being tested and passing that test is a big advantage over a team like LSU that hasn’t really had to raise its level of play yet.

Yeah man huge advantage. They really came out ready for the moment tonight over LSU. You nailed it.

The way he puckered and made those guys let an easy series clinching out drop was something else

The way he puckered and pulled his ace in the 2nd.

Or the way he pulled his ace after only 38 pitches so he’d be available again

Feel free to explain how DVH “puckered” when 3 players let a ball drop between them
