Unless the SEC has real concrete proof that LSU and Lane did something eggregious and that the SEC is not selectively enforcing rules, then it might look like hundreds if millions of dollars for LSU.

I really think if they had something really bad on LSU, the SEC would have shown it to the school and the school would back down.

The fact that LSU hasn’t suggests the SEC really has nothing.

Written assurance from LSU that it will not add the two TRO plaintiffs to its roster and paying a fine continuing to pursue the players in violation of an SEC rule.

The SEC will push for a multi-game suspension for Kiffin for his half-time comment. LSU and the league will settle on suspending him for the game this weekend.

The amendment filed by the SEC expressly states that the Special Meeting is to consider the termination of LSU from the SEC “whether LSU renounces its intention to roster and play professional players on its football team, or not."

At some point, the adults have to come to the table and say look at the NCAA change the rules too late, but they changed them before the semester started

So a judge is basically enforcing the NCAA’s own rules -unfortunately the SEC doesn’t like it- because of the timing and the optics they don’t like the fact that these players signed an NFL contract, we get it

And the rest of us don’t like the fact that Chambless was told no twice went out, got a favorable judge from his state and got himself back in the program and then the NCAA, then changes the rules to stop the next Chambless from happening in the future and no one is asking him to hang it up and say I’m sorry, (Son) but you can’t play.

They’re not willing to do that, but they’re willing to raise hell about these two players which by the way are former Ole Miss players - that can’t be ignored.

LSU, nor Lane Kiffin filed any suite for any player pro or amateur (Sankey doesn't even know what that is" to get eligibility.
LSU has not rostered any player that is in question.
Snakey thought he could hold his own and failed miserably in court. Sankey showed himself as a fool and a coward by running out the backdoor.
LSU has every legal right to play the players. The SEC and NCAA failed to prove they're case and it it wasn't home cooking either they were just bad in court.
Now Sankey has pulled the LSU board into the Lawsuit and the state hasn't opposed the Thursday meeting according to AG Liz Muril.

Going straight to conference expulsion is an extreme initial reprimand. I expect to see some really horrible SEC officiating against LSU the rest of this season that will cost them at least 2 games. Not minor bad calls but straight up NFL style, you are not winning anything, bad calls.

If this was about the NFL players, it seems they would just tell LSU they risk for forfeiting all games and records for the season if they play. Expulsion is more in line with the other schools have always hated you and this is their ticket to get rid of you.

It's time to arrest Sankey for contempt of court.
