No. Plenty of other guys around the country in their 6th years. Some 7th. So they would have graduated in ‘21 and ‘20. And Max Johnson may have his 10th year reunion coming up, but I think he’s the anomaly. But seriously, he may be the only 7th year, class of ‘20 guy still playing. But I doubt it.

Jesus Christ, I certainly hope not. It should ONLY be about giving this team a better chance of winning the National Championship. 3 reasons for the 2 Ole Miss guys:
1) makes us better and deeper
2) they know the overall system/culture/expectations and won’t have a lot of catching up to do mentally. More for Harris because he has a new DC—he also has to catch up physically as he’s out of shape—but he’s familiar with some of the coaches and NT is one of the easier position to play mentally. Fat and out of shape as he is, he could still potentially go in and eat blocks for 6-8 plays at Clemson if needed.
3) It prevents them from going anywhere else and making them better. Mainly Ole Miss because that’s where they were.
But if Lane, at this point in his career and at the end of his 1st camp at LSU, is worried about trolling Ole Miss, then we made a huge mistake hiring him. I don’t think that’s the case, though.

That may have been the point he wanted to make, but he did not make that point.
I think this case has more merit than the Chamliss case. The Mississippi judge issued his preliminary injunction in such a way as to completely neuter the NCAA and SEC's ability to penalize Ole Miss. If I have any concern with these TROs and injunctions, I am not sure they insulate LSU if the SEC or NCAA decide to push back or penalize them. And by not sure, I mean I have no idea how they are written, and I'm not a lawyer

There's no way in hell that dude should be able to play. Where was Sankey at when that was going down? Why didn't he make a big deal about that?

I agree, Saint; so does the NCAA, but the Ole Miss judge issued the temporary injunction and has not set a final hearing date. The NCAA petitioned the Mississippi Supreme Court (7 of 9 got their undergrad or law degree from Ole Miss) for an interlocutory review on March 5, 2026, which the Mississippi Supreme Court subsequently denied on March 27, 2026.
