Yet a second tier program like Auburn got better without him

We traded Dutton for Stansfield. I’ll take the traded all day. They also took two of UFs better players last cycle. Auburn is pretty good.

Cade Beloso and Brayden Jobert have no post LSU baseball future. They both made big time plays in big time games. LSU doesn’t win a CWS without those plays.
His favorite coach Tony Vitello relies on players like that too. But it’s only bad when Jay Johnson starts those players

What?

He doesn’t have actual arguments. Don’t waste your time like Sammy and I did.

I just want to know how lsu is 18th nationally in fielding percentage this year if jay hates having good defensive players

Stanfield hitting .383 in SEC play with a conference leading 12 doubles.
Auburn's CF this year is Bristol Carter, transfer from ECU, he is hitting .265 on the season, with a total of 7 XBH all year (including all non-conf games).
Continue to look stupid

Bud I wouldn’t be spouting off how intelligent you are at baseball if you don’t even realize how much better Stanfield is hitting this year compared to at Auburn.

One guy compares Stanny to Skenes
Now we have one comparing him to Burrow

Second time I’ve posted this in the thread:
From L to R Pearson, Curiel, Brown
That OF would be just as good defensively. Stanny hits for more average, Pearson more pop. Both are experienced but neither are elite bats, and neither do anything on offense that makes them multifaceted or gives much upside

Finally a solid one after 4 yrs at LSU
They are improved. 3B and C are the only spots they’ve gotten worse

I love all the Stanfield grandstanding from the same people who tried to convince everyone that Jones, Milam, Larson et al were stars

Posted on 4/22/25 at 1:46 pm to burreauxxx
But you said Jay doesn’t like freshman in center? You’re arguing against yourself here. Earlier you said Stanfield didn’t take a spot because Curiel was never playing center. Now, he is playing center.
Therefore,, for the hundredth time, that would move Larson to, at worst, the 4th outfielder. The 4th outfielder at LSU plays 50+ games. Therefore, Stanfield took an outfield spot from Larson.
I’m not going to address the factually inaccurate statement that the .380 hitter who leads the conference in doubles offers little offensive upside.

Providing statistical evidence to prove a player is good is not “grandstanding.”
It’s literally just posting data to prove you wrong, again.

damn you are dumb...i never compared anyone...you used the fact that auburn was better this year without him as proof that Stanfield sucks....i used to the burrow comparison to show how stupid that was.
