Is there any repairing of this bridge?

I am struggling to see how LSU will ever get a fair shake going forward. This is the most unprecedented and ridiculous bad faith decision to sue a founding university of the SEC going back 95 years. Most of us probably have a workplace related story where you've been targeted in similar fashion and even though it might get better, that stink is still over you and will eventually be cashed in by the bully in power. LSU - please get the hell out of this bullshite conference that propped Bama up for all those years with favorable scheduling, no penalties for Dodge Chargers, refs not calling obvious penalties and all the crap LSU has been subjected to. Now with these lawsuits, the Rubicon has been crossed.

Much like we all had essentially "forgotten" about it (and much of the media as well) after we bludgeoned Clemson on Saturday night.

If LSU is good and gets in the playoffs, it will be forgotten. The SEC will be super happy to have 3 teams in the playoffs.
But LSU will remember this when Tenn or OM or Bama have controversy if it is known that they were helping to push this.
The biggest issue is with Sankey. He already has the power to levy fines and was given latitude by the SEC schools to levy punishments single handedly from what i've read. He now whats to know if there is authority to expel a school from the conference further consolidating the commissioners power and influence across the conference.

The only thing that might keep LSU in the SEC would be Sankey’s termination and an public apology from the conference to LSU for this outrageous stupidity

Sankey would have to be removed. He’s allowing this situation to happen. There’s clear evidence of bias against LSU.
