Nobody hates Stovall -- I really remember being enthusiastic when he was offered the job. He simply failed

Saban - no comment necessary
Nonsense
LSU people respect the hell out of him. No one wanted him to leave. Him going to a rival is the single issue we have
People generally like Stovall, Arnsparger, Cholly Mac, Dietzel, Bernie Moore
We were eventually proven right about Miles and EdO. That doesnt mean we disliked them, but they were not effective head coaches. Otherwise, posters on here would also love Larry Coker, Gene Chizik, and Jimbo. Amirite?

quote:Yeah I don’t hate O. It blows me away that he lost the program in 2 years but I always tried to stay positive and his tenure went about as good as I had hoped: a couple of years of success and maybe even a championship before a likely nosedive.
love Ed O because he is a big Cajun idiot who had the greatest team of all time.

Orgeron - disliked for being an in general idiot and having a poor attitude as head coach. Couldn’t build on the success he attained and basically seemed to coast immediately afterwards and drove the program to lows we hadn’t seen in 20 years.
What he accomplished may never be equalled.

People who don’t “like” Saban are just bitter that he had historic success.

I don’t think anyone hates DiNardo

I like Saban…I always respected what he did at Bama. I also think Mac got a rough deal at the end.
Miles was an idiot who should have been run out of town years before he was. O was just a buffoon that backed into the best QB and WR group LSU ever had.

That’s weird, every other person that isn’t an lsu fan always lauds us.

I have largely positive thoughts on DiNardo. He was essential in the process of eventually locking down the state for LSU. Seems like a decent guy too. I have a feeling my hatred for Saban will wear off over the years, but not yet.

I always liked Charley and his successor which goes way back. Remember the "Chinese bandits"??

You understand 99% of all coaches are fired?

Love O
2019 was glorious and never happens without him.

I still can’t believe John Brady spoke at his own termination press conference. It was brutal. He barely made it through. I was so glad when he was brought in to call the bball games, and it is good to see the love he receives now.
