I don’t dislike any of them. Miles may be the closest right now because I think what he pulled is a piece of shite move as for the rest, not in awe of them either.

I respect Saban for what he did for our program. I liked Miles, but his lawsuit is cray
Saban didn’t make LSU the powerhouse it has become. LSU made Saban the legend as he is recognized now. Just before we hired Nick he had an unspectacular stretch at Michigan State, culminating in getting his arse kicked by LSU in the Independence Bowl. His success with LSU resources gave him the visibility and credibility to move to the pros and the to a desperate Alabama where he succeeded in bringing back the Bear glory days.

Good lord this could not be more off base. Saban did more for our football program from an organizational, structural, and mindset standpoint than he did on the field, and he did a lot for us on the field. He laid all of the modern groundwork for the titles decades to come, otherwise we'd still more closely resemble Kentucky right now more than a top 3-4 program in the conference.

I like Coach O.
I wanted him fired but I still like him.

Hard to say if Coach O could’ve kept having competitive teams had he not lost sight of it and started taking naked selfies with 26 year olds. Had he kept us competitive he would’ve been my favorite coach because of the Louisiana ties, obviously.

I respect Saban. That’s better than like, but I am not a woman.

Nick Saban won a championship and set LSU up to win more since he left. If you hate him you aren’t a smart fan. Probably the same fans who pull for SEC to win championships too.

What a shitty fricking question.

O won the lottery and behaved like a lot on here would.

Saban made LSU a National Title contender, there's no doubt. If he didn't, then explain the years between 1958 - 2003. That would be 45 years for those playing at home. But you are also correct, LSU provided Saban the chance to reach the next level in coaching.

A few things
1) Saban's Sparty career did not "culminate" in LSU beating them in a bowl game. That was his first season at Michigan St.
2) Michigan State was under NCAA sanctions when he took over, and had not been to a bowl in 5 years. They went .500 or better every year under Saban
3) The "culmination" of Saban's Sparty tenure was beating #1 Ohio St in 1998, considered John Cooper's best team he ever coached at OSU. And then his final season he won 10 games, the first time Sparty reached that win total in 44 years.

On that list, I like Saban, Dinardo, and a bunch of pre-1990 coaches.
Orgeron, Miles, and Hallman were all bonafide idiots who were dislikable in their own ways. Wondering why people don’t like them is like wondering why no one liked Smoke Laval in baseball or Trent Johnson in basketball.
