Growing up as a kid, the only thing I remember is some guy sitting next to me that would call him Wickersh*t everytime he missed a pass or threw a pick.

She is going to be Kramer, Jr. before long.

This will be a recurring thread for four years replacing the Kramer Robertson / Kim Mulkey and McKenna Kelley /Mary Lou Retton threads.

Yep
LSU threw it a ton during that era with him at QB
He had a lot of int's and TE Mitch Andrews couldn't catch a cold

I'm trying to take after your hate foe Will Wade and the basketball team. I learned it from you, alright? I learned it by watching you.

One of the "legends" of the 1985 Liberty Bowl. A book needs to he written about it.

I don't know what bashing means, but here are Wickersham's career stats. For the record, a 25/39 TD/INT ratio is terrible.

587-1005
58.4%
6921 yards
25 TD
39 INT
116.7 rating

His stats were very similar to the LSU QBs of the past decade. He has 25 TDS and 39 picks for his three years, so less protective , but was 57% completions.

Tigers went 21-12-2 duirng his stint under Stovall and Arnsparger. Kicker missed a chip chot FG in 1985 which would have beaten BAMA on the final play. Cost them a tie for the SEC title.

In 1984 they tied Florida in the opener and lost to Miss. State on a final seconds FG by a BR native. Had they won either game they would have been SEC champs. Florida won but the title was vacated due to recruiting violations. The SEC did not dirextly award the title to runnerup LSU but we can claim it if BAMA can claim all of their titles.

25 TD and 39 picks? Holy shite. It was legal for the DB to do just about anything to the WR then, short of rape. And a QB could get hit while still in the huddle.

But 39 picks is still a bunch, no quit in that boy.

Oh just wait I am willing to bet the Drew Bianco/Mike Bianco storyline is going to dominate them all. Especially anytime LSU Ole Miss play.

I caught that ball, was one of the biggest chokes I'd ever seen although the kicker(Browndyke?) went on to be a pretty good kicker for us

Ronnie Lewis missed the kick against Bama in 1985. Browndyke missed the kick against Ole Miss in 1986.
