I was looking at the schedule and it doesn’t show anybody showing it. I find it hard to believe that a gymnastics meet with LSU in it and in Baton Rouge won’t be. That sucks if it’s not televised

From what is showing on the LSUsports.net schedule, it doesn't appear that there is a broadcast for it.

No, live stats only although I’m sure lsu and a few reporters will try to post as many routines online as they can

No visual sights, unless you are there.

Is it not streaming on some app?

Regardless, the other meets get broadcast on the SEC Network because they are head-to-head SEC meets. This isn't one. Really, it is more in the nature of an exhibition meet than anything else. And its LSU tying to "game" the system a bit by getting a "neutral" site score (which count for more in the seeding analysis) even though the meet is not really "neutral". Plus, the network is showing the Women's basketball tournament...which would have MUCH greater interest/viewership than an exhibition-like gym meet.

Plus LSU is trying to convince the Metro Council to let LSU build a new arena. this gives them a 10000 draw to the River Center a week before the vote

No. There’s no such thing as a neutral site meet. They’re home and away. Because this isn’t a home meet at the PMAC, it’s an away meet. And away meets don’t count for any more than home meets do. You take your three highest home meets, and three highest away meet for the NQS. And then you drop the highest score, and average the 5 remaining.

Go to YouTube and search 2024 NCAA Podium Challenge. It should come up with our meet at the River Center. Then you can click on a link through NBC Sports and it looks like it should work.
Going watch basketball for an hour, then I’ll try it.

You can use all away meets if they are your six highest scores…just have to use a minimum of three away meets and no more than three home meets.

Not exactly true. You take your 3 highest Away meets and then take your next 3 highest scores, regardless if they are home or away. So you MUST have 3 big away meet scores for a good NQS. That makes away meets more important. You can’t just hit at home and keep bringing in the judges who overscore.

One thing that bothers me is that if they are going to host a quad meet on a podium and make it a big deal, then how about not start it at 6pm on a Friday? It could have waited another hour. Traffic has been a nightmare today, as it usually is on a Friday. Weather didn’t cooperate up until recently but it already messed up traffic. No need to start so early when TV is not an issue.

Since that site apparently was not real and there’s no coverage, why isn’t someone from LSU Gymnastics going to update scores?
