The committee did what it was forced to do to maintain any credibility. Yesterday's events were too much to not make the change. The sugar coating of the closeness of the two teams is just kissing OSU's behind. But that is just political butt kissing at its finest

And everything else is for ratings. All that matters is that they got it right.

You’re just asking for all of the millennials to come on here and call you a pussy and say that you’re finding reasons to bitch. God forbid you actually have a discussion about legitimate topics.

Great comment and I noticed last night your confidence that LSU would be #1 today, which I shared. I was optimistic but slightly less confident. I've strongly disagreed with the committee's decisions outside the top 4. I just see the Big 10 being any better than the Big 12 or Pac 12.

Of course, I know I have a strong bias against the Big 10, strong pro SEC bias, and a PAC 12 bias (was born in Washington and have UW family roots.) The biases we have is what makes college football great and makes CFB conversations really fun. However, trying to have a somewhat reasonable conversation with anyone on the internet is virtually impossible.

I'm a Gen Xer who has come to appreciate millennials. I don't blame millennials for ruining the CFB conversation. I believe it's more the nature of the internet where anybody can say anything.

Absolutely. Terrible way to decide this thing and the process is a joke.
Agreed. They've decided that the seeding process is a near mob mentality 'pick the hot narrative' process between 13 people.

And now they have to stick with it. If they can't make clear and logical arguments to justify or explain the why behind every decision, everyone will assume bias and 'feelings' and the whole basis for existence just got shite on, by themselves.

And that's the problem. The explanations are so bizarre that it leads to even more questioning.
