dude was a beast yet never got much play

He was just stuck behind loads of talent. That roster was fricking loaded on D. Dude is fast. We miss him as a gunner on ST for sure. I don't even know where he went. I barely follow the NFL. Where is he playing? He getting any play time?

plays for the Bills and I believe he's started the past few games for them or at least has gotten a ton of PT lately.

Shout out to Lavar Edwards, played behind some good players too but made some nice plays this year, damn strong Tiger!!!

Not saying he is the MOST underrated Tiger ever, but he is an animal.

- Brooks has gotten so much "underrated" talk since fairly early in the 2011 season that he might be slightly overrated

- Taylor definitely got a lotta love, and I can't think of too many ppl who wanted Loston over him (most left Loston for dead after Reid started making noise in 2010)

- Kyle Williams? the AA and All SEC Kyle Williams? underrated? lol

- good call on Perry Riley. others I'd add (not necessarily most ever, just recent):

Chris Hawkins
David Jones
Brian Johnson
Jerel Myers
Nate Livings
Al Woods
Cutrera
Eric Alexander

I don't know about most underrated, but he's definitely under-appreciated.

His last two years at LSU were great, yet some LSU fans still remember him for the bad case of the drops that he had for a few games. I have a lot of respect for him for bouncing back after the shite he received.

Yup. If you have a few drops at any point in your career you're dead to a lot of Lsu fans

Ask Dallas fans how much they like McCray. He has been terrible all year for them.

He's not supposed to be a starting safety.

Buster Davis was over shadowed by bowe and early but his hands was maybe the best of the bunch.

Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm................ Bowe was one of the best WR's to ever set foot on LSU's campus.

Even though he was a bust in the NFL JRuss was still the first pick in the draft for a reason. Buster Davis piggybacked off of Early and Bowe. I'm not saying he wasn't a good player, but he was a 3rd / 4th round draft pic who had the best arm in a loooooooooong time throwing him the ball with two legit first rounders drawing coverage.

I like Ron Brooks. Spent his last two years behind 3 guys who have 2 Thorpe, 2 Bednarick, and a invite to the heismann ceremony between them.

I agree. What about Ryan Baker? He played his butt off early at LSU and only got better, but you didn't really hear a lot about him from the media.

Ryan Baker was about where he should be. He was 2nd team All-SEC. His 2010 season was better than his 2011.
