Is Pig Cage the most underrated player on the roster?

He played really hard against Kansas State and seemed very athletic. He led the team in solo tackles, sacks, and tackles for loss. I wonder if this staff considers him as being contention for a starting role.

I still say it's Ojulari. He will feast this year. I called him our future star his freshman year BEFORE the season started. He got off to great start but can't seem to get that sack total up to where he belongs.
All-American this year. I'm calling it. "The Prince" BJ Ojulari.

I agree Ojulari is legit. But I feel like he is on most people's radars. He and Cage had similar stats against Kansas State, which I thought was interesting as well.

BJ is a 3-4 OLB... If the defense is multiple, its there that he will shine.

If Pig Cage plays anywhere but special teams, we are fricked.

I'm pulling for him based on the name alone. But he looks pretty talented.

Yes he is under rated. It amazes me how. these negatigers don’t believe what they see on the field. Yes he played on our undermanned squad but give him credit he flashed against Kansas state. That was real action against a formidable opponent. The kid was an all American in fbs as a freshman. He can play.

He can play that was obvious in a game where everyone else sucked

Not trying to shite on the kid, but just to be clear he made the Freshman All-American team in FCS.
That said he was a much-needed bright spot in the bowl game. I don’t know whether he’s the most underrated player on the roster, but I’m definitely rooting for him.

Pig Cage is our blue collar player. He is the guy that we can all relate to. He isn't a freak athlete and he has a great personality and work ethic. I predict he will be a long time fan favorite before his days as a Tiger are done

He will make his bones against Arkansas.

Yeah he recorded a lot of stats in kstate bowl game but it wasn’t bc he was playing great. It seemed to be bc he’d let his guy make a catch and then he was right there to make the tackle

Ok he played bad against bad players and still had the best statistical game on defense. Got it, guys.

When you Google Pig Cage, you get the Nicholas Cage Pig movie.

Just like Kolbe Fields, kid was a stud on that Rummel 2019 defense. Made play after play all year, only reason he wasn't going to a larger school is because of the guys around him on that team and defense. You can only eat so much when everyone is starving.
Regardless, he should know that there are a ton of other 4 and 5 star guys in front of him. He's the type of player that you want on the field because if he does get playing time he gladly earned it. Would be nice to see him out there on Saturdays, maybe not in a starting role but some rotations every now and then.
Could be a really good special teams player for sure.

Ojulari needs to improve his pass rushing moves other than just a speed rush around the edge, if he wants to have success against the big dogs in CFB and in the NFL. He disappears too often in SEC play.
