I agree with the general consensus. Very few college kids can hang with the pros in the trenches. Even Brockers with his size and strength would get pushed around by most NFL hog-mollies.

Give all this LSU talent a few years to mature, and we may look back at this group and say, "Damn. LSU had an NFL-calibur D-line in '11."

What style of D-Line player has had the most impact in the NFL over the years. LT, Derrick Thomas, Dwight Freeney. See a pattern....... Speed. I am not comparing our guys to them but rather their approach. Mark it down defenses are changing and Chavis is ahead of the game. Come on who runs a 4-2-5 as much as we did the other night.

retarded question...just absolutely retarded

you do realize that will smith, ellis were complete studs in college

you do realize that abrayo franklin is one of the very best run stopping defensive tackles in the nfl

you do realize that cam jordan would have absolutely started for LSU last year over these guys

you do realize that it would take every member of the LSU D line several years to gain the strength/consistency needed to be an NFL star.

If Mingo tried to rush around a solid NFL OT at this point he would be put on his arse 9/10 times

Mingo would constantly be on his back against an NFL O-Line. Do you know how small Mingo is?

How fricking stupid are you?

How many players on our defense or offense ,for that matter, do you believe will eventually be starters in the NFL or even make it to the NFL?

Guess what? Every player on the saints roster made it to the NFL!

We would be extremely lucky just to get a field goal or hold them under 60

Smith is the 2nd coming of Grant a few solid years where you think he is going to do something and then you realize he is average.

Would the best HS DLine in the country be anywhere near as good as LSU's?

The jump from college to NFL is even bigger.

JOE THOMAS V. MINGO.

We had Lavalais, Williams, Spears, and Hill one year. Why is this just so far fetched. Like someone said earlier DJ Williams and Vilma were on the same LB squad once but according to everyone here because they were in college they could not be a great tandem in the NFL.

I commend you for actually trying to argue your point, but you're just making yourself look even more dumb with every post.
