NOPE! He still cost LSU more championships than he ever won us!
Yeah, him at Bama was brutal, but neither Les nor O win a NC if Saban didn’t make LSU a premier program. When he took the job, LSU was literally referred to as a coaching graveyard.

Redeemed?
He is the greatest coach in LSU history and the program would have never won another NC or enjoyed the astounding successes of the last twenty-five years if he had not sought out LSU and taken the job in 2000. He completely altered the culture, image, and trajectory of LSU FB.
