A case for every Top 25 team winning the NCAA tournament

quote:

22. LSU Tigers

The 2019 version of Virginia had three players average over 11 points per game, and 2018 Villanova had five players average over 10.5 points. Not only does LSU check both of those boxes, but the Tigers rank among the 50 least foul-prone defenses, something both of those past champions did.

Buckle up, baws! We ridin!

Anyone can win the national title this season. Lots of parity in college basketball right now. LSU could do it if we get lucky

Im sure this is a dumb question, but say we win the SEC in bball and baseball. Can we say we won all 3 in the same year?

To me, football season is the start of the sports calendar and the CWS is the end

That would be a bigger accomplishment than anything the football team did to win this past Natty. I will be happy with getting to the sweet 16.

Yeah, no.

Late game melts won't serve the team well come tourney time.

But what school can boast top 25 teams from all 3 prominent sports?

You see - winning by 2, regardless of the opponent, doesn’t matter. People only see the Ws.

Sure. Why not. Let’s make a run for the National Championship.

No need to pit one against the other. The SEC is a stronger football conference than it is basketball so even though the tourney is longer in basketball I’d say the road is about equal. Now the respective programs that each coach took over were very different but so were the expectations.

I am now quite confident we can win the SEC reg season title. Everyone is playing more to their role. Need to cut out stupid turnovers and we’ll be fine. Wade about to be on that arse.

I really think this team is very close to being something special. Not saying a natty run but with just a little more consistent 3 point shooting and cut out a few key TO and we can make a run.

In spurts we do. But we need to be more consistent shooting 3's imo to make a deep run

Given colleges have classes year, albeit summer courses are optional to maintain full time status, I would imagine it would go by calendar year.
