IMO that would be the highest. Guess 15-17 wins and that would be an enormous improvement. I'm happy with 12-14.

19 wins = NIT invite that they will take. Hope the fans will forget about the JJ years.

This isn't your Memphis team from 10 years ago. KenPom has them at 151 so far this year. Last year they finished 101.

Derrick Rose ain't walkin' through that door. If we play a decent game we can go in there and get a win.

not sure about that. i can't say with confidence there is a team that has less talent. that's what's so great about how wade has this team playing. very few people know what a miracle he's doing because lsu is so far under the radar

I haven't seen enough teams to say, but Vandy don't looks so hot, Ole Miss....I ain't seeing much there, Auburn without the two guys hurt. I'd start there.

Yes, the SEC is vastly improved, but this team is just getting started in identifying itself...and, that's been without Sampson since the ND game.

LSU will be able to play with any team. Kentucky and aTm are top-tier and each will earn top 3 seeds in the NCAA. So, that leaves at least 3, as many as 5, spots available in the NCAAs for the SEC.

Finishing (9-9) this season in the SEC probably earns a spot...

Yes, I think a (19-11) SEC team will be on the Bubble this year and could very well get in.

Yea, I agree, he will have some serious talent on the court next season. I haven't heard much about Emmitt Williams recruitment, I believe teams are waiting to see if the DA's office files charges, but I really believe he has LSU high on his list. Might be one of the two spring signees Wade referred to. IDK if that's reality or just fantasy. I just hope the kid didn't do what he was accused of.

look at their sos. it's top 25. granted, they lost those games but still. the record might be a little deceiving. i would like to think lsu wins that game but, i can't say for sure.

these are two of the other candidates i see for an lsu win. i think lsu can hang with georgia, possibly scar.

everyone else, the tigers have to have everything fall their way; shots going in, no foul trouble, good bounces, consistent officiating. the other teams have more talent, more depth, more expeience, good coaching. they're just further along in the process than the tigers. it's going to be tough sledding but so far, wade is better than advertised.

Doubtful. Willing 17-18 games would be awesome with a North in the NIT for this team would be a good year.
They simply don’t have the depth or talent.

I'm just saying I don't think LSU is hands down the least talented team in the SEC. I think when Samson comes back we have some pretty good players. Samson and Waters both Top 50 recruits and very good athleticism. Waters better than Iexpected. I think Reath can be a very good asset in certain matchups and I really like Rachal, his upside is tremendous. Epps is a senior and has some skills, Mays is steady and WW thought enough of him to run a lot of Iso set for him in the second half against Houston.

Now are we top level talent-wise in a much improved SEC? Definitely not, but I don't necessarily think we are near as bad in that regard as compared to see the team Brady took over from Brown by comparison. Now that team was without question the least talented in the SEC that year.

I'm going to be cautious in my enthusiasm given the scars of the past 25 years, but I like what I see to this point from WW.

I graduated with an ChemE degree from LSU in 1972 and an MBA from Rice in ‘78.
Proud to say my son finished in ‘93 with a ChemE from Cain.

My granson is studying right now at to be a ChemE at you guessed it - LSU.
Although, I wish he would have gone to Georgia Tech. LSU gave him a full scholarship so he took it. Plus he loves my school.

LSU plays 30 games regular season this year, 10 OOC and 20 SEC games. LSU is 6-2. I say yes, 22-8, and is a tourny team in March. In Wade we trust!

SFA bro.... Not 20 wins this year. Bad loss today.............
