Is LSU a lock for the NIT if they don't win the SEC tourney

I wouldn't mind another home game and a berth in the big dance doesn't look likely.

Definitely NIT but the players will probably not be motivated much at all. Not really sure the fanbase deserves anymore home games.

The NIT games would be awful. We have seen what this team plays like when they aren't motivated. They might lose by 40. I'd rather just not do the nit and get ready for next year.

As much as you want people to believe this, it will never happen. NIT = shitty basketball teams.
In a world filled with one and done freshmen, college basketball is already littered with a lot of oddly constructed rosters. The NIT sucks.

The bottom 10 teams in the NIT are usually automatic qualifiers themselves.
So yeah, this is just a painfully incorrect statement.

I can remember one of my first games at the PMAC as a kid w my Dad. I saw the NIT banner and asked him "Whats that?" He responded "Not In Tournament", meaning the NCAA.... I went on thinking that for many years.
