no one should ever look up to these head coaches as some sort of model of respect. these guys are out to make a buck or get a win to boost their ego, and that's all that matters to them. that's at any level of football.

Word. Les is sharper than bubba Bowden.

Bowden in his prime was a pretty fair offensive mind! His offense was creative, daring and productive. He would hang 50 without a bit of remorse. That's not Les' style.

Sounds like pretty good role models to me.

Bobby Bowden would kick Miles' arse if FSU had a decent FG kicker. You would not see Bowden in his prime flubbing games up against Alabama. Miles is a good coach...nothing more. Nick will win two more NC before Miles plays for another.

Go see '97 Sugar Bowl National Championship where his team got blown out by a UF team they beat earlier in the year, or his flubbing offense getting shutout against OU 13-2 in 2000 NCG. Bowden also had a hard time beating Miami no matter who was coaching there

Just so we're clear while we're talking Les vs Bobby --- the winningest coach in CFB history --- there is a reason Bowden wanted no part of FSU joining the SEC.

Lofreakingl. Are you serious? Bobby Bowden's team always had one of the toughest schedules in the country. He was known for taking his team to play anyone anywhere.

If you don't like Bobby or Les, fine, but at least get your shite straight.

The Rant is fricking useless.

FSU is the Notre Dame of the south east!!! They will never be as good as our beloved LSU tigers. So Les Miles is way ahead of little ol'e Bobby Bowden.

Top 3 what? LSU is not even top three in the S.E.C. currently. Tigers didn't finish in the Top Ten and there were five S.E.C. teams ranked ahead of us in the final season ending polls. Meanwhile, three out of four was going down to the northeast of us.

Then what two teams would you put ahead of LSU as a program?

Big fallacy 4 times in the 8 years under Miles, LSU has been top 10 FBS in avg Margin of Victory vs FBS teams, and LSU is also ranked FBS top ten MoV during the entire BCS era.

Now that you know different, will you not post it?

Idk i think fsu was really dirty under biwden. Recruiting wise.

They are also come from diff places and are not a like from the multiple interviews ive seen from bith of them. There really isnt anyone like Les.

Les also has s long way to go to catch bowden in wins, i doubt he stays around as long as bowden did.
