LF7 is the best back I’ve seen at LSU followed by Faulk, Cecil Collins, Joseph Addai and CEH. Outside of LSU top 5 college backs for me I’d go with Adrian Peterson, Ricky Williams, Eddie George, Darren McFadden and Reggie Bush
Dalton not in your top 5?

Dalton not in your top 5?

He sounds young, so he likely didn't see him play.

I'm surprised nobody is mentioning Eric Dickerson, I guess that's too long ago also.

He ran for 101 yards against Auburn with a high ankle sprain. Took 2 weeks off to heel up and

2015 it didn’t matter what he did vs Bama he wasn’t winning it over Derek Henry.

Extremely incorrect

10/23 odds
Fournette - 242
(Next closest) Henry +1615

11/10 odds (AFTER the Bama game)
Fournette +135
(Next closest) Henry +215

As always, Les let the season end after the Bama game. If they beat Alabama or Les does anything but try and run Leonard into a brick wall, Fournette wins the heisman in 2015. He would have been a 2000 yard rusher. Fournette was only not a favorite after the shitty Arkansas game.

How would you rate his career?

He got paid, and he's relatively healthy, so good for him...... but his career could be considered a bust since he was heralded as the greatest running back since Adrian Peterson

Gotta put Lattimore on this list, near the top

Cecil Collins was better than Fournet just couldn't stop peeing in girls windows

It's honestly amazing that a three game stretch, one of those games being against Akron, has created such a mythical legacy for Cecil, and it's only grown over time.

Imagine if Fournette only played in 2015 and only the first 3 games of 2015, and then never logged a snap at LSU again.

He went

28/159 3 TDs - Miss St
19/228 3 TDs - Auburn
26/244 2 TDs - Syracuse

Cecil went
22/172 0 TDs - Miss St
27/235 2 TDs - Auburn
20/179 1 TD - Akron

*I'm not going to use Vandy for Collins since he broke his leg in the first half

from 2007-2018, we had exactly 1 100-yard rusher against Alabama. Jeremy Hill had 103 yards in 2012

Kevin Faulk is my favorite LSU RB all-time. The Alabama of his time was Florida. His career against Florida

1996 - 13 carries, 26 yards
1997 - 22 carries, 78 yards
1998 - 19 carries 77 yards

Does it make him less of a player because he didn't have great success against a single team?

Solid career. He always had very limited vision and wiggle so he probabaly got the best out of his talent.

Good career but like you imply there always felt like something was missing.

It really is amazing.

- He's 1st all-time in single season ypg with 162.8, 2nd place is Carles Alexander with 153.3 ypg. 3rd Place is Faulk with 127.1

- He's 1st in career ypg with 119.7. Second place is Faulk with 111.1

- He's 1st in yards in a season with 1953. Alexander is second with 1686

- He trails Faulk in career rushing yards by 732 with 9 fewer games played

- He's first in TDs in a season

- He trials Faulk by 6 in TDs scored in a career

People's problem with Fournette is we sucked against Alabama and that he sat out games hurt in 2016.

He played heavier in the NFL than he needed to, but more importantly he was ruined behind that awful OL in Jacksonville.
