Too early to determine

I would say not quite yet. He is slightly behind TM7 after 2 years. Chase had a great sophomore season, but just a so so freshman year. A all SEC or greater junior season and he would be right there in the top 10.

I still think Josh Reed was the best. I had classes with him and Corey Webster. They were both down to earth humble guys. After the Florida game when he had three interceptions our professor gave us the day off and thanked him.

Dude why do so many people think Glenn Dorsey is a top 6 or 8 tiger. There isn't a single game that we won just because he was on our team. I think that would be a good way to decide on that caliber of a player . Yes he was great, but people automatically put him on a list of legends and I'm not sure he was healthy 50percent of the time
Outside of Kevin Faulk, every single one of those guys won National Awards for being the best at their positions.

I have watched, attended ,or listened to every LSU game since i was 10 years old...and that would be the 1969 season. To be considered Top 10 ANY POSITION...you absolutely need 3 seasons IMO to be in that grouping. Let's see what happens...but he has a shot

Definitely the best WR in LSU history.
FIFY (All due respect to Reed, Beckham, Landry).
Stupid statement

He’s damn close. If he gets us back to Atlanta or a NY6 then certainly.

Jimmy Taylor and Tommy Hodson aren’t getting enough mentions (if any). I’d have both of them in the top 10 over Chase as of right now. Not enough mentions of Charles Alexander, Alan Faneca, and Kevin Mawae, who I think would probably be ahead of him right now as well.

Ok so ur saying that there is no WR worthy of being a top 10 all time player at LSU.
Maybe not. It’s not guaranteed there is. We’ve been playing 125 years, and there’s been a lot of great players to easily narrow it down to just 10. I think Burrow, Cannon, and Casanova are the only no-brainers. Can make a case for lots of guys for the last 7.
I think the problem with this—and all rankings, really—is you evaluate a guy(or team) and say “that’s a top 10 ever guy” without actually making a list. You see it most with CFB rankings. People will whine about “this team is not a top 10 team” based on your pre-conceived bias of what a top 10 team should like, yet can’t name 10 other teams more deserving. This is the opposite of that example. Instead of not having enough, we have too many, and you’ve got to make a list before saying anything definitive.

No idea, Clerk. I am still waiting on h.u.n.t.e.r. B.R.O.W.N. to re-emerge.

With another all American nod, Chase could be top 10 IMHO. Stingley certainly is on the path as well

Keep an eye out. He can re-emerge in many forms.

Will do. And no doubt, he can. But the blowup mattress always betrays him.

On the real, though, Clerk. Thank you for showing up and knocking Innes’ dick in the dirt. You lose that game, and it changes the culture around here for the worse. Much, much worse. You repped us OG assholes so well, and you don’t get enough recognition imho fwiw fyi gtfo. Respect.
