Is it Wade’s fault we can’t hit a shot?

2 more made shots and we probably win this game.

1 made free throw and we beat FSU.

Waters has regressed tremendously.

Is that the coach’S fault?

Did you see the shots they were taking. Down 4 and we jack up 3s on three straight possessions while everyone stands around.

yeah it is his fault.

The offense needs to be closer to the goal.

We have some of the top big men in college basketball....yet we're dribbling off our foot or doing some stupid shite far away from the goal. You have to work it inside for closer shots.

When he lets them throw up 3 after 3 from well behind the line, missing all of them badly, without calling a time out, then yeah he should answer some questions.

No but it’s his fault for not telling his guys to quit jacking up horrible 3 point shots during a 9 minute scoring drought in which we lost our 15 point lead

Not one play run for Smart in the second half, not one post touch until the 3 minute mark, let the refs steal 7 possessions in a row without a tech. Yea it’s Wades fault

It is partially his fault for continuing to allow them to take bad shots. You have the depth someone takes a contested 3 with 20 seconds on the shot clock you take them out I don’t care who they are.

Tell Reid to get in the post and don’t move. Maybe run a set play for him to take a three every so often to draw their big guy out. Reid made one true post move all night and it was beautiful and worked and he got an and 1. Wade needs to show that on replay to him and say see you can do that all game and get easy points.

Sampson called money plays in crunch time and Wade didn’t. That’s the difference.

Its wade’s fault he let everyone take awful shots. Absolutely. I have been his biggest fan, but tonight was super dissapointing.

I'm not seeing them run any offense. One, maybe two passes and the other 4 watch that guy try to make a play vs the other team. Out of control passes leading to turnovers. No movement on offense. Sloppy picks.

Poor fundamentals. Especially blocking out. This looks like a group of individuals, not a team.

Jesus dude what is wrong with you? I've been around this board for years and consider myself to be just about the most level-headed, non-Chicken Little poster on here....and even I realize what I just witnessed was pure horseshite.

Here is what concerns me. Wade said when they got back from Orlando that he was going to make damned sure we quit taking long 3 pointers 4 seconds into the shot clock...and that we were going to pass the ball inside and work inside out. He was emphatic about it.

Where was that tonight? What exactly do we do on offense? Why don't you tell your point guard to slow down on the 30-footers and work the ball inside?

And the motherfricking defensive rebounding is what killed us. They outscored us on 2nd chance points like 20-4. That killed us vs. Florida State too.

So tell me how Wade has "coached this team up" the last 3 weeks?

End melt.

Fault? No. Responsibility? Absolutely.

I'm still amazed some of you don't understand this. It all falls on him.

Agree on all the comments.

But , for arguments sake, if we do hit a few of those, which is exactly what Waters did last year when everyone was in love with him (same shot selection)... we win both those games.

And you are right. But Waters has got to understand that he has help this year. If you are 1-8 shooting the 3 (which he was before the last possession), then maybe it is just not your night and you should try something else.

EVERY team is going to have nights where they go cold on offense for stretches of the game, particularly on the road. You overcome that by defense and rebounding. Those two aspects of the game ALWAYS travel and are the cornerstones of good teams.

LSU’s defense is bad and they have a tendency to get killed on the glass when they don’t match the opponent’s intensity.

Houston flat out wanted it more. LSU was able to tread water for longer than expected because of the 15 point cushion. But once the shots stopped falling they had no defense to fall back on.

Well, yeah....if we score more points, we win. I don't understand your point. We didn't and we lost. Blew a huge lead. There's no excuse.

Body language and overall demeanor of the players has been biggest problem all year. You could tell they were already defeated when Houston closed the gap... Where has the Wade fire and grit from last year gone? He looks uninterested this year.
