Around 71K season tickets sold last year. (We had over 74K in 2015.)

51,115 is about 50% capacity

-1,000 for players/staff families, etc

-500 for visitors

-9,615 for LSU students (my guess)

40,000 for LSU season ticket holders. Distributing these is tricky because of skyboxes and other premium seating. Boxes would get maybe 6 tickets each and everyone else 2 tickets each by priority ranking. Some season ticket holders would not get any tickets depending on how many folks opt out.

I hope to opt back in. After many years of season tickets, I had opted out this year to start coaching grand son’s youth football again. Well, that got cancelled today.

I’m torn, part of me would opt out and roll over ...buy games as I wanted or could... but other part say swhat if the virus calms down and due to limited tickets, prices will be through the roof, and we blow the house off the roof... I was there Troy 2008 Comeback and maybe 15 k fans in the stadium but one of the loudest stadiums you’ve been in.... I went to bama Game, secg, Oklahoma and ncg game.... don’t want to miss those games with my son this year

As far as I know, I can’t make the decision right now.

I’m assuming more details will be provided before I have to make a decision.

WTF? When they can't even figure out what games you will be able to go to, whether you will be allowed to use your own seats, where they will put you if not, and whether they will allow tailgating? I agree with the guy who said the market will be soft. Even true tiger fans will opt out and rightfully so. You can support this team and pick up what seats are available for what games and where on your own terms if they can't provide more clarity than this, and still make a donation to the TAF if you want.

IDk what to do ... we have 5 tickets and I'd hate to leave our kids at home if we can't have all 5 (which I'm assuming most won't get their full set). They're older but it's what we enjoy doing as a family. Besides, the atmosphere won't even be close to the same and I'm not wearing a mask in the stadium. No way, no how. Also, I don't want to not sit in my section.

This may be the year to just sit home and watch.

They are trying to lock up as much cash as they can before they inevitably do no fans at games

Hmm. I know it seems insignificant and that’s not a huge decrease, but I wonder if that was trend before COVID. It’s pretty obvious that with huge flatscreens becoming so much more affordable and literally every LSU game being televised was inevitably going to lead to more people staying home. But now? Yikes. Hindsight is 20/20, but man that expansion money really should have gone into upgrading facilities and the overall fan experience. Oh well, spilled milk and all that.

Well NFL teams just announced their plans for fan capacity -- some are ZERO fans. Saints haven't decided yet -- working with the state blah blah blah.

See More Sports Board.

I’d think we would be lucky to have 10-20K in the stands.

I’m an Effin fighting tiger, former athlete/alum, if there are games in tiger stadium and I can go the I will be there too.... if I can’t catch the virus at work being exposed to 50+ per week for 5 months then I’m not Likely to get it in TS

Edit: I will not sit in upper deck, my season tickets are in mid NEZ

That’s kinda the point....you may not know where your seats are being relocated until after you are told to decide whether you are opting in or opting out.
