Is having Cole Tracy causing the team to be lazy in the redzone?

The team takes the attitude of the coach. O certainly looked like he was setting up for the 3 in the Moo St. game and not hell-bent on finding the endzone.
Play calling at times felt like that too. Won't work this Saturday, for sure.
Tiger's win 35 - 13!

It made sense for that game to not risk plays in the rain and to settle for a FG to extend the lead. Red zone offense though has been an issue this season so of course we need to do better on Saturday

Having Cole and our defense allows us to coach smart in red zone. We don't have to always press and give the ball away.

O said as much in the PC yesterday. He said they recognize it as a staff and must put more emphasis on scoring TDs in the RZ.

If your title is true, how do we end up with 35 points as you predicted?

They have to break out of that mindset. They can't be the team they were against Moo ST. My score predictions come from numbers/vision my brain produces. I saw 35 to 13 and I felt LSU would win. I saw LSU AU 26 to 23. But, I saw LSU 33 to 28 with FL. So, by no means are my 'predictions' solid. It's more or less a feeling I get. Trust me, I don't bet on anything.

Not getting lazy but in games where several field goals win it, ie moo state, why risk losing the game just so that you can be ranked better in red zone offense?

We need a receiver who has the speed to break explosive, intermediate plays and score. There is nobody like Chark out there and it forces us to grind it out in the red zone. Ensminger isnt a true rpo oc, so we're limited in our red zone attack.

This. It’s awesome when our fans make logical, well thought out, objective observations. Well done.

Ever thought that maybe Bama has scored as much as they have because they knew their strength of schedule was so weak....

Finally, someone who gets it.

While not perfect, I think O and Ensminger both have a good "feel" about how to call a game. Against Georgia, Ensminger called for tempo at just the right times and it threw Georgia off.

Against State, it became obvious that they were not a threat to score a lot of points. LSU didn't need to take chances...they just needed to get points. Field goals were safe.

Trust me, this coaching staff is aware that they need to score touchdowns to win this game. Let them worry about it.
