Nope. He said it was a mutual thing on his radio show. He didn't like their contract offer, he countered and they didn't like his offer. They parted ways.

Somebody must have got to him, because he was all riled up to fire miles the week after the Wisconsin game, but he hasn't mentioned it since.

Listened to him and Jimmy Ott the other day because someone had asked the question because he was no longer on the Les Miles bandwagon. He said it was a mutual agreement that LSU had made him an offer but he did not like the financial particulars so they parted ways but on friendly terms.

He's affiliated with 104.5/104.9. The way I take it is he gave it his all with arse kissing LSU higher ups in an effort to be the voice of the Tigers. Once he was officially passed over for the job, he got real with himself and accepted his current role. So now he just speaks his mind.

Had some fun with Hannigriff one night at sullivans ringside. I introduced him as the voice of the tigers and he played along with it, woman asked to hear something, and he did a baseball thing it was pretty cool
