IMO he's a tad ahead of Eades or maybe just the same, regardless it's nice to have another good arm to count on. I'm just another mindless fan so my opinion doesn't count though.

He's been consistent for sure his last 4 starts now. Really wish we didn't throw McCune for him that one weekend, but i guess on short rest we felt it needed

Regardless of your question it was a great outing for Glenn tonight. He's definitely stepped it up the last few weeks to solidify the third starter spot heading into the postseason.

Really been about the same, just great defense behind them IMO. Half the losses have come off a few errors in the field..

Becoming more consistent than he was. Eades still a clear #2.

I agree, but eades has had to battle a lot more lately than in the beginning of the season. To his credit though, if he starts rough, which is typically the case in his rough outings, he has been able to tough through it and get 6 or so innings.

He will reman #2 IMO, but Glenn had been better IMO. He's really come into his own.

No because even at Eades worst teams seem to struggle to get runs on him. He had one bad outing the entire season. People get on base with Eades easily and then he shuts them down. That's been how he's pitched all year. When he's at his best, he's better than Nola, IMO. Problem is he's rarely at his best but still pretty damn good most of the time.

Glenn has been more consistent than him past few weeks but Eades has still pitched great.

tl;dr we have 3 legit starters and not many teams can say that. Good problem to have.

Nobody steals on Glenn. He also really doesn't
have a strikeout pitch.
Eades on the other hand, is easy to steal on--
but he has a coupe of strikeout pitches.
Eades seems to lose focus at times.

Glenn right now is better than Eades. I predicted this a couple weeks ago. That doesn't mean Eades can't turn it around though.

This is a good point, teams really dont try and run on him. He works quick and gets rid of the ball really fast once he starts his motion.

Eades gets stolen on like a rented mule...and usually not much Ross can do about it either

Glenn's outing today was no different than Eades' last Saturday.

Glenn: 7.0 IP, 1 ER, 8 H, 0 BB, 2 HBP, 2 K
Eades: 6.1 IP, 1 ER, 8 H, 1 BB, 2 HBP, 1 K
