He is not a POLITICAL coach

What exactly about his tenure makes you think he's not political? He literally campaigned for the job and has hired everyone who helped get him the job to his staff, including a fricking radio talk show host. And because he has the vocabulary of 5th grader that makes him not political? Come on, you gotta do better than that.

For whoever the people are that are downvoting simple responses of "no," I assume that means you do think Orgeron is trying to tank the season. So, instead of merely downvoting, can you please explain what reason Orgeron would have for trying to tank the season when that would result in him getting fired.

Tank is an understatement. Sabotage is more appropiate. I can understand a up and coming OC rather a proven below average OC that no one else wanted. People always point to the 8 games he coached in 2016 but those games were against some of the worse defenses in the SEC and when they face top tier defenses it was a disaster. So why hire this man when even the head coach himself is not capable of coaching a powerhouse like LSU is beyond me and tanking is the only resonable answer i can come up with.

the only reasonable answer is that Orgeron is personally trying to sabotage the LSU program and his own job because he never should have been hired? Read what you posted again and explain how that is in any way logical.

Ensminger is much better than the guy he just hired today. Remember the special teams coordinator for the saints that completed bombed his last few seasons there. Well orgeron hired that guy as special teams coordinator. The hire of ensminger is 10 times better than the man he hired today as special teams coordinator.

referring to the way he speaks....
directly and straight forward , not the political runaround we are used to .. and yes, he will make mistakes

does that speak more poorly on the Saints or Orgeron because the Saints kept him in that position for 11 years?

I have no idea what how he speaks has to do with anything I've said?

Are you arguing that he's not incompetent? Because the evidence to the contrary is laid out in black and white, man.

He reads tRant and sees that he has already failed. Now that he figured out that he is not a good coach and has finally got promoted to shrimp boat captain, he is going to take his money down da bayou.
And he is setting up all his ole coaching buds with great contracts to retire on, also.

And y'all call him a dumbass coonass.

Have you seen his buyout. He has no reason to do anything other than what he wants to do.

With such a big buyout and all the money LSU is paying out to coaches CEO couldn't care less what the fans want or to win a championship.

Its sad when the HC is so bad you have people asking if he wants to get fired

Navigate your way to head coach through sketchy and undeserved means. Work 24 months to earn over $6 million, get fired and sit pretty on another $3 million retirement investment....

Not a bad plan.

I'd also like to point out just how dangerous of a combination arrogance and incompetence are. It's what lead to a 10-25 overall record for O at Ole Miss

How about his record since then?

6-2 at USC
6-2 at LSU 2016
9-4 at LSU 2017

21-8 since Ole Miss.

None of that is with the position coaches he hired or the players he recruited.
