He’s gonna be a stud again come June.

I'm sure the Williamsport Crosscutters are super excited for it.

This is true. But he was scorching hot in the postseason last year. He had a lot of upside and did that damage vs good or better competition so I get taking the swing on him more than Simpson.

I’m curious if he leaves or Jay brings him back tries to get him straightened out. I was leaning toward the later before last week, but he was pretty bad in those games when we really needed guys to step up due to all the injuries. I think he may be shown the door and replaced.

They have to have someone that can play third that is better than Reaves. He has gotten worse as the season went on. Terrible with runners on.

Has Clauss actually been bad. I only remember him kicking 1-2 balls just like Ruckert did?

Pretty much the same. Ruckert just getting more run right now.

He has not played much. He has 2 errors in just 5 chances. That's a .600 fielding percentage. And he is batting .250, 0.000 in SEC play. None of that inspires confidence, but in-game jitters on a big stage are a real thing. SO I will reserve judgment.

Rukert has 4 errors in 35 chances (.886) . He is batting .265, .143 in SEC play.

His attitude/demeanor doesn't strike me a someone who Jay is going to keep around.

had hopes for him. What a complete bust.
I think JJ had a lot of eggs in his basket. When he didn’t pan out it just started a domino effect.
