Is he worse than what we have? Not one of the qb’s we have could separate themselves; that is not a good thing. Another thing, I’d like to see what a qb who has actually been coached by a REAL qb . coach & a HC who specializes in qb’s & offense can do. I think it’s pretty evident that LSU can’t & hasn’t developed a qb in the past decade & the only guys who were somewhat decent were transfers with at least 2 years of development elsewhere.

We will soon see if he is better. Does not hurt bringing him into camp, will raise the level of competition.

Right this moment, yes he is better than anyone else on the team. We did not have an SEC game ready QB on the present roster, and Burrow gives us someone who is mature, confident, and well coached coming in at his position. With that said, his being here should help the younger players learn and grow to be game ready if called upon should he go down with injury. You get better either getting better players, or you get the people you have better. Burrow at this time is just better.

Don't you know that the QB on the bench or on the other team is always better than the one you have?

I know this is meant to be a joke, but Urban's backup/starting QBs have always been good. Except for his last year at UF.

It's a treat to get a talented guy that has already been well coached.

Maybe.
Just be happy we have some new talent to throw into the mix. We know he has been coached well and is not afraid of the competition or spotlight.

Why did Jake Coker leave FSU for Bama?

Because both schools have tremendous QB talent.. no shame in it.

Russell Wilson. Others probably.

If the O-line plays as bad as they did in the spring, all the QB's will be equal. This is why McMillan was more successful than the others, his legs.

Can't truly judge the QB`s until they get the proper protection up front. The hope is when the #1 OL all plays together, the offense then becomes productive. We don't have a lack of talent at QB, but no chance for them to produce. The lack of a running back and change of offensive philosophy worked against the QB's in the spring game also.

With or without Joe B, we still have bigger problems to solve.
