OK, this is pretty straight forward, saying he doesn't want to cut higher education every year: LINK

Like some other folks, Carville and I aren't in the same political group, but that Rose Bowl rant was the best ever. I must have watched it 20 times. He's an LSU fan and that's fine by me. I don't get the problem with it.

I think he's hilarious when he gets on a roll no matter what he's talking about. He's just a funny man.

Just look at the AgCenter for an example. LSU has a whole network of research facilities and scientists that do nothing but research ways to make Louisiana farming more efficient and productive. They then disseminate this information for free to any farmer willing to listen.

I'd like to see some of those AgCenter scientists walk over to Tiger Stadium and disseminate some of that agricultural knowledge to the turf people so they can make growing athletic grass more efficient and productive. Apparently NOBODY at the AgCenter has ever done this before..........

Anything positive on LSU is good to me and I can't find anything negative about him representing LSU. I am not a political guy so cares what party he represents LSU in the positive. I figure he has to be a pretty good to be a democrate and marry a republican. I love his comments about being a federal guy because both parents worked for the Federal government and he went to LSU on a Federal Loan. Let's find some real sports news to talk about.

Carville is awesome! Hate his politics but love his personality. He has a deep passion for LSU. That overcomes alot in my opinion.

Yes, I'm tired of Carville.

D. Toms is much better rep for LSU.

I wish he could be declared the official spokesman for LSU. He is witty and smart.

Every televised lsu event has that commercial about Collis Temple blah, blah, blah, etc... featuring Serpent Head James Carville. I don't know about the rest of you but I'd rather have a non-pathological lying political hack representing LSU.
No. I like James Carville. He supports LSU every fricking chance he gets. I don't like you.

James Carville rocks. I'm thrilled for him to represent LSU and he obviously loves the school and is proud to be an alum.

He's unique - married to a stalwart conservative Republican.

He's obviously secure in his beliefs. Here is a vid from his class at Tulane when he had Newt Gingrich speak. Tune in about the 24 minute mark. The guys are political enemies but old friends and their banter is amusing.

Carville is a real academic - wanting his students to get the best possible education and not afraid to give an open floor to someone with whom he fundamentally disagrees. And in a classroom setting, Gingrich shows he was a very able college professor before he entered politics.

James Carville is a huge embarrassment to LSU...

...On TV Carville comes across very strange and weird, he is hard to look at and listen to...

Not really, he's about the only nationally known figure who really talks about LSU sports.

Count me as one who is generally opposed to Carville politically but who loves that he is an unofficial spokesman for the school and its athletic teams.
