Well Staley showed us how not to play IOWA. You have to double team that girl and limit her touches and when she drives to the basket to foul the living shite out of her and knock her arse across the court. Then if they win you shake their damn hands and call it a day.

Clark is Iowa’s whole offense.
Mulkey has to come up with a way to disrupt her. Iowa runs and runs and runs and sets three or four screens and gets the ball to Clark every trip down and she shoots quick release 3’s like she’s Steph Curry.
She also copies a lot of Kobe Bryant’s mannerisms. Very masculine energy. Probably likes chicks.

You are counting the years at Temple where she was basically a symbolic coach. Hell, she was playing in a different state while she was coaching there.
She also coached the national team for many many years.
Now, if Mulkey pulls out the game on Sunday, we can look at things again.

But back to the game. Probably one of the best games I have seen outside of the muggings the refs allowed by SC. That last jump ball was criminal.

I think sc loses alot this year right. They will replenish talent but this class thats about to leave were a special bunch

That’s harder than holding Clark to 30. We don’t have shooters. LSU is an aggressive attack-the-rim team. When they get away from doing that and are forced to shoot out away from the basket we lose. Same thing happened tonight. Got ahead by attacking the rim, got away from that and started chuckin bricks and started losing, then went back to attacking the rim and got it back and won it.

Weather the early run they will go on if they come out hot and they'll wear down in the 2nd half. Got beat up pretty good today and you could see in the 4th that no one else on Iowa even wanted to take a shot. I think at around 2 minutes left Clark passes it off and just stood still to take a break and they still forced it to her.
We can have a similar game to VT today, runs off and on early as they hit shots, wear them down late.
