You can make #'s sing and compose, if you stay at it a while.
Stidham doesnt have a drop, batted ball or a throwaway, I guess.
Im still pinching myself that somehow Burrow ended up at LSU. What a lucky break for LSU.

Statistically Stidham is the worst qb n the sec with pressure on him.

Offense is terrible because Burrow holds the ball too long, give Brennan a chance to play to see what he can do.

This isn't surprising to anyone that's actually watched our games. People will blindly see the 47.7 comp percentage and just say Burrow sucks.
Can only speak for myself but I don't have any reservations about Burrow's abilities as a passer. He's not Joe Montana but more than enough to compete at a high level.
I just really think the fricking BS games Orgeron played with the "position battle" were a complete waste of time, not to mention it didn't achieve the purpose of preventing transfers. With this type of schedule Burrow needed every rep possible, and now we're behind schedule because of it.

Drops are on the receivers but he holds onto the ball too long.

Burrow has always been known to have one of the fastest releases among top NFL prospects. Holds the ball too long? Pure internet BS.
Too many slow developing pass routes are being called.

He is a gamer that’s all that matters

What does fast release and not holding the ball too long have to do with each other?
I’ll give you a hint... nothing

Everyone around him needs to play a lot better, including the play caller.
I'd be totally fine with Burrow audibling every play.

we don't have any ints.
With a 2nd team OL
Is that worth anything.
The D is going to win this, not the Off

I’m not blaming Burrow. It’s our pathtetic offense coached by a bad offensive coordinator meddle with by a bad head coach.

Is this not on the QB?
Could be. Could be on the Oline or it could just be an outstanding play by a defender.

Also does the rest matter? If the WR's can't catch and the O-line can't block, we will continue to the same results. . .
It matters when evaluating one guy. It matters when trying to figure out who/what needs correcting.
Either way, it’s interesting.

Didn’t Fitz only complete like 41% of his passesfor Moo State last weekend?

Yes and no.
What this should tell you is that Burrow has the potential to be really good. He has only started 2 games. I think he gets better.
The OLine has to block better for him. There is no question about that.
We also have some very young receivers who “should” get better as the season progresses.

Are they adjusting all QBs numbers? You have to compare apples to apples

Traore wouldnt have been able to block a golden girl if she were lined up across him last Saturday. If hes playing tomorrow we're fricked

Wrong (sorta). The term "Quick release" is used in 2 ways.
First, is the time from the center's snap to the ball leaving the QB's hand.
Second, is the time from the start of the throw to the ball leaving the QB's hand.
I am referring to the first usage of the term. If Burrow isn't releasing it, it is because the WR isn't open yet - NOT because JB is hesitating.
Examples of the 2 different (but common) usages of the term "release time":

Which Golden Girl? Bea Arthur was a beast.

Brennan’s release is light years faster than Burrows. This will show sooner than later. Maybe this weekend.
