Its high pitched and grating and he has a slight speech impediment. I'm not trying to pile onto Musso, I think he does a great job with the podcast but if you can't tell a difference between other career sports radio voices (clear and smooth) and his then you are ignoring it on purpose.

I didn't point it out to be like "he sucks", I pointed it out to say its a shame that someone so passionate will be limited by something he can't really control.

Hhhmm idk I don’t take that much stock into it. I guess it’s bc I’m used to listening to lots of audio books and info wars podcasts. His voice has no issues with me

No idea why it ever switched away from DC, DD, Jones.

It should switch back and never change again.

I think it’s relatively clear what he was trying to do. He has watched the offense somewhat struggle for the past few weeks and felt like he needed to switch things up to hopefully provide a spark. Like I think when he was making those moves he probably never thought have Jones as the lead off guy was going to be a the long term solution.

Curiel
Jones
Dickinson
Milam
Frey
Pearson/Brown
Hernandez
Braswell
Stanfield

Flip Jones and Dickinson if you want.

Against a lefty, maybe swing Stanfield to lead off and push everyone else back a slot.

I know everyone will hate Milam at 4, given his struggles this season, but he is a switch hitter with some every day experience.

He knows ball, but his voice just grates on me for some reason. Not to the level of the Otter stuttering, but if he was half an octave lower he’d be more listenable.

10-1 LSU's record this year when Pearson does NOT start. .909 Win %

Whats LSU's record when Jake Brown doesn't start. I'd like to see that number.

I’d probably flip Brien and Milam, but I like it otherwise

it is literally nonsensical, by any standard.

dead man walking until about a week before post season play

This stupid arse narrative of this team being "deadman walking" is so laughably dumb. This team has a shot at having the best SEC record of a LSU team in a long time. Going to aTm and losing 2/3 while not hitting up to LSU standards is not even close to a big deal. Everyone just sit back and enjoy watching a really good baseball team. And please just shut the frick up while doing it.

27- 6 when Jake Brown starts .818 win %
11 - 5 when Jake Brown does not start .688 win %

Hence why Brown should be starting every game, regardless of opposing left handed starters and matchups.

The main issue is while the baseball coverage is great, he’s very limited on football and basketball

You misspelled “player’s”.

Agreed. His defense is much better than Pearson. The Pearson defenders will bring up his catch from 2 years ago in the CWS while ignoring Brown’s catches this year. Brown is also much faster than Pearson and gets to balls that drop at Pearson’s feet.
Pearson isn’t a bad player. I really like him but he is a downgrade in RF compared to Brown. He should be used for PH and DH.
