Drunk drug addict with a gun charge pending..
Then lied about it to the cops
Now of course that doesn’t mean Trey didn’t do it.

Is it time to move on from Holly?

Has a new trial date been set?

Woman probably trying to blackmail Holly !!
For a certain fee amount… she will probably recant her testimony.
She is a Drug Addict, Criminal and Repeat Offender that cannot be trusted .
Absolutely Zero Credibility.
Throw her Scumbag Azz in Jail….
then throw away the key !’

If this is the star witness then the DA bringing this case has some serious issues. Looks like they are simply trying to take down a local star athlete because of bias and trying to ruin Trey’s career.
Why?

Very common for hood shite non-perps from one case to be hood shite perps in another. Not news in my world.

Why is this case in trouble? The star witness just got a felony and tried to destroy evidence. That doesn’t build credibility with a jury.

(Potentially) Bad person socialized with other bad people who are now turning on him. Imagine that.

Ruston PD don’t play with tinted windows. The amount of arrests I see here that start with tinted windows and end with drugs is crazy. I would think at some point people would stop tinting their windows, but I guess not.

That is the star witness the prosecution is using against Holly?
She was one of the ones shot.
quote:
Keishia Cornett was seriously injured in the shooting and attended the court hearing. “I got shot twice in my back, I got grazed on the side of my chest, and it hit my lungs,” Cornett said. Cornett also expressed her desire for justice. “I want him to get punished because I don’t deserve this. I’m an innocent person. Thank God that I’m here and I’m still living.”
The problem is that she wasn’t a “witness” until September 2024 when the prosecution entered her evidence in court. That’s 7 months after the event. That screams of her getting threatened or paid off.
And remember, the grand jury decided not to indict him for murder charges,
quote:
Initially charged with attempted second-degree murder in connection to a February 2024 shooting, the grand jury dismissed that charge in April 2024.
However, Holly still faces charges of illegal use of a weapon and aggravated criminal damage to property

Exactly.

How can the DAs office expect a criminal like this to give credible evidence to a jury! How can you expect reasonable people on a jury to evaluate anything this lady says as reasonably true. Very little to trust he

Criminals interact with criminals. Joe Blow, CPA, probably doesn't interact with criminals, so how would Joe Blow, CPA be around during the time criminals are doing criminal things?

Sounds like a VERY credible witness.

Lots of trash up that way. Self inflicted wound on his part.

Trial was canceled due to broken A/C.
Don't know if new date has been reset.
He's surely not getting a speedy trial.

Defense Attorney Michael Small will win this case.
