re: Inexcusable effort by Major Burns (GIF)

Seeing those plays there's no doubt in my mind this dude had money on the game. There's no other explanation for just not even trying.

How can Kelly and Baker watch this on film and allow this dude to see the field anymore? They need to call him in 1 on 1 and show him that and be like what the frick was this.

I only watched a lil of the game and realized we were out of the playoffs and that kinda "wth" from him a few times. He GAVE a 3rd down conversion on a sideline pass and one play Milroy was outside the pocket and he turned his back to the offense and ran - wwwhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaa

Zys effort or lack there of sucks arse also. But burns should never set foot on the field again with his play and lack of hustle and just down right sorry arse play

Burns = Gaping Vagina

Seeing this crap finally pushed me to making an account here. I saw that in Power Hour LSU and was dumb founded. I can’t wait until Burns and Sage Ryan never play again. They are frustrating to watch

2022 was a wash for safeties

You would have liked to see more Kylin Jackson this year.

Not everyone is ready their Soph or freshmen year but our safeties are so bad and only Spears is seeing the field.

The thing is, it’s not just about failing to make a play. It’s about half-arse, piss poor effort. In the five clips I posted, Burns doesn’t even hit the ground once. The closest he comes is getting a hand and a knee on the ground after a complete whiff (the 2nd to last clip).

Missing tackles is one thing. If you’re missing multiple tackles without even falling down that’s a sign that you aren’t trying very hard. Then there are the plays where he obviously pulls up because someone else is tackling the guy - one of which led to a touchdown. And those are just the plays in the second half, where I saw him near the ball carrier.

It’s indefensible. As I’ve said before, I’m not one to call for benching guys very often. But there’s no place for that kind of effort on any football team.
