Wake is in that quicksand. They think Skenes can’t work on 5 days rest and that his fastball won’t be as effective.

Their whole douchey vibe was silenced for the most part. There was one point that one of their guys that had just struck out was hitting the wall with his helmet that I knew we had beaten them mentally.

Pretty sure if after 2-3 innings we have the lead then we won't need Skenes anymore. For that very reason that Wake will screw themselves.
