It’s just a lot of money to pay BK to hire one of them.

Over the course of his contract. Its literally just another line item in a spreadsheet, not a lump sum payment.

LSU FB is the money maker for the entire school system. Let that devolve into a shite product and you're potentially losing money by not making a change.

Out of your list of coaches I’d like to see what Jeff Brohm can do. He’s one of the better offensive minds, and of the major issue with Kelly is his record against elite teams, well Brohm is 4-0 against top 5 Top five teams since taking over at Louisville. And yes, I know his overall career record is 11-16 against ranked opponents but the man was Coaching at Purdue. He’s innovative and and I think the fan base would love him. That being said, call Saban and Urban first, just to make sure lmao

We need young and someone who understand football. Here’s mine:

Glenn Schumann (35) — Georgia DC
Will Stein (36) — Oregon OC
Frank Smith (44) — Miami Dolphins OC
Zac Robinson (38) — Falcons OC (NFL)
Robert Saleh (46) — 49ers DC

I have your bias, but the honest truth is, LSU is not a better job than Oregon in today's college football landscape. They have more success, more money at their disposal, the gameday environment is top notch, and they have an easier path the playoffs every year.

I think it's sort of easy to say that Oregon is a better job when LSU is down. But the question is why is LSU down? Because they are being mismanaged. History has shown that when this program is properly managed, heck, even just sort of well managed, that it is a better job than Oregon. We've won three national championships and played for another in since 2003, with three different coaches. What has Oregon won? They get their easy path to the playoffs, but then what?

If this program has a competent leader, there is no excuse to not consistently make the playoffs, especially now that we have this ridiculously watered down 12 team format, that people already want to expand. People always bring up Nike, with Oregon, but they have had Nike all this time. What has it done for them? It took them forever to even be relevant in anything, and even then, they still don't win championships in any sport that anyone cares about. LSU is in a great geographic spot for recruiting, has a passionate fan base, doesn't have quality in state competition for recruits, and has a history that sells itself to players wanting to win, and wanting to excel at the next level, that Oregon simply doesn't have.

So, even in the NIL era, money isn't everything. It's a big part, but you need the total package, and LSU offers that opportunity. But our AD has to do a better job at hiring the right leader for this program.

I’ll stop you right there. We all make fun of Aggy for 1939, but no one ever mentions that is the exact same year Oregon won their last natty in a major sport when they won the first ever NCAAT in basketball. They’ve never won a national title of any sort or by any metric in football in the history of the sport. With all of that Nike money now one could argue they are the greatest underachievers in college athletics.

Ideal scenario is Kelly leaves for PSU who would absolutely take him. He gets to be back in the Midwest where he belongs. And give me Drinkwitz

PSU has no interest in Kelly, they just fired a coach who cant win a big game they dont need older, grumpier version of the same thing

Im surrounded by Penn Staters and the well connected folks are saying first choices are Elko and Joe Brady (PSUs biggest donor owns the Bills).

A lot of old Paterno heads want Rhule but fans would revolt - the shine has worn off him.
