Such an underrated team skillset in today's game. People keep harping on if the defense will do better against running qbs when a big part of that is not going 3 and out and not giving the opposing teams short fields to work with. Put pressure on an offense to go 70+ yards and NEED TDs every drive instead of FGs and that running qb will naturally become less and less effective.

Immediate success - He had his best year of his career unquestionably at Ole Miss last year after replacing 20 starters from the previous year and adding 30 in the portal. So pretty much a whole new team.
He has done the same here but to IMHO a higher level. I expect to be able to say going into each game we have a reasonable chance to win and a reasonable expectation to make the CFP.

Outside of Seaton, there's nothing to indicate this new batch of OL"s is anything better than what left. (Very disappointing OL class on paper)
Bah and Harper are upgrades.

A reasonable run game.
An Oline that acts like they have seen a stunt before.
How about when we have success with a slant route, that we go back to it in the same game? This drove me crazy last year.

RPOs should be a feature of the offense and not the foundation for the entire offense. Coaching OL to never be 100% ready for a run play kept them off kilter. Can't be in an obvious running situation and have them not knowing which stance they will end up in.

Dominance. I want LSU to bring back the toughness and physicality that used to be the Tigers trademark. That's something we haven't seen since 2019

You mean get through the first series of the first quarter without a time out?

An efficient short yardage offense. For the last four years, first and goal basically meant 0 points. Especially remembering fist two possessions against Florida State which ended with 0, and the first possession against USC. Embarrassing.

(1) Creative play calling.
(2) Run the ball effectively.
(3) Improve blocking by offensive line and TEs.
(4) DLs pressure and sack opposing QBs.
(5) Explosive pass offense, pass for longer than 10 yards.
(6) Tough, physical, grit.
(7) Score more than 25 pts.
(8) Minimum 9 wins. 10 wins would be icing on the cake.
