I agree.

lol wut?!?!

"ungratefulness", which you spelled wrong

No, I didn't, but lots of us make mistakes in our posting. We are not doing a school or work project..so what?

What has JJ done for me

You mean, other than sign with the Tigers, take on one of the most pressure packed college football player task around as an 18 year old true fr cause his team needed him, and help QB an LSU team that has won 20 games in two years and obtain a Top 8 NR???

That you ask such a question speaks pretty well to the point the poster who made the statement was making.imo

Taking on a coach for his player decisions is one thing, but calling out a player, daily, and thread after thread, is a cheap shot and certainly displays more than a little "ungratefullness" no matter how you wish to spell it.

Actually in light of his performance is a compliment? Mediocre is about average to slightly below average. Statistically J J ranked well below that last year. Fact not opinion!

Now come on in JJ's uncle errr Uncommon Cents

so the fact we've had a National Top 10 Ranked Defense the past 2 years didn't help him attain those 20 wins? problem we have with Jefferson is that this team won in spite of him over the past 2 years. imagine if we had a compitent QB who didn't need 2 weeks or more to prepare so he could play an above average game. Well done young Jedi Basher. Not only have you posted multiple times Bashing Jefferson, but you have exposed the sunshine pumbers for what they truly are. Good work.
The fact that the sunshine pumpers are mindless Nazis who robotically follow the evil machinations of the LSU athletic department needed to be brought out into the light. This is indeed a notable Basher post. The Nazi part is especially important as it lends crediblity to your Bashing.
Your Basher potential is unlimited. I predict future Basher super stardom.

He didn't "attain" 20 wins, but he helped QB a team which did and I don't recall anyone not giving the D their props.

As to GG, if your big stat take from the Cotton Bowl on JJ's performance was "but he completed just 10 passes", then you can't see the forest for the trees and your take of that game is worthless. imo

I think the big stat is that of the 4 games out of 13 you could reasonably argue he played well or in some cases very well 3 of them he had two weeks or more to prepare. UNC,Alabama and Texas A&M. The one game he had that he played well with only one week to prepare was Ole Miss. That leaves 9 games he peformed below average or in most cases horrid.

I dont think nor do I think the overwhelming majority believe LSU can have the kind of season that the overall talent indicates they can have with a qb who performs below average or worse in 9 or more games during the season.

JJ has been given more opportunities to play when his performance dictated he should be on the bench than any LSU qb that I can remember.

When you throw in the scowling and pouting on the sideline when his backup is in the game and makes big plays along with his horrible clock management in the UT game last year and Ole Miss game in 09 most do not feel or want to watch him flail around for a third year.

Or do you guys (Lonnie and Uncommon Cents) think we should sit on our hands or applaud poor performance and accept it? Again if that is the case did you guys want Curley Hallman to be retained?

Why have we had other players who did not perform in games get replaced but JJ has started despite his repeated poor performances? Again I am not speaking subjectively you can objectively look at his statistics and qb rating and see he is substansially below an average qb.

you're such a moron.

JJ signing with the tigers HAD NO BEARING ON MY LIFE at all. It was good for JJ, not me.

Oh and taking on the task? WTF He did it because he WANTS to.

GTFO with that bullshite. He isn't selflessly dragging himself out there is he? And if he is, I'll tell him thanks....but no thanks.

really?

I'm grateful for my family, my health, etc....

JJ doesn't even make the goddamn list.

Imagine what last year would have looked like without him. I am not a believer that JJ is a good Div 1 quarterback but I can only imagine how shitty our record would have been without him last year.
