Where's the version where 54 explodes on the sideline?

There was also a 19-play drive that took up the whole third quarter against South Carolina

I was there. The drive was going away from me. Felt like an eternity.

Was that when Kenny Hilliard threw that Ole Miss defender into another galaxy?

God that was absolutely filthy. Crazy to think back on the big bruising running backs we’ve had in the past 15 years that brought the wood. Charles Scott, Hilliard, Jeremy Hill, Hester, LF7, on and on

Did that really only take 6 min off the clock? I always think of the final drive of the 2007 Florida game as the ultimate Les Miles run attack, but looking back on the stats, there were apparently 3 pass attempts on that drive (1 completion). 16 plays, 8 min TOP.

Sorry but my mind can't erase the multiple drives in the last two minutes of the half engineered by Burrow.
Beautiful memories

Towards the end of 2014 we were running essentially a triple option

Well, we had Jennings at QB, who seemed to regress in his passing as time went on.

I was there. It was like watching them die a slow death. Loved every yard of it.

The team we are talking about (the 2014 Version of Ole Miss) was ranked #3 at 7-0 with their last two wins being a Home victory over (then) #3 Alabama and a road victory over (then) #14 A&M.

Our Tigers were ranked #24 coming into the game.

Not the usual crippled Rebel squat, err, “squad”.

Loved that drive.

It’s cool to shite on les but appreciates the offense when it worked.

Scoring 40, 50, 60 a game and going 15-0 is much cooler though.

I’ll take our current offense over any Les offense of any time, BUT at the same time when that ole ground game was rolling and our backs and Oline were just manhandling people it was a thing of beauty. It just rarely works today so it’s better off in the past.

With a 10-7 final!!!!

I know people seem to forget, but Ole Miss finished with the #1 defense in the country that year. They got torched by Auburn (so did LSU and we were 5th in scoring D), and TCU, but TCU should have went to the playoffs. They had the #2 scoring O and #8 scoring D. Outside of those two games though, they were great. They beat Bama, beat that 10 win Miss St team, and beat two other ranked teams. The problem was that their losses were to mediocre teams in the regular season.
