Exactly. We thought Brandon Harris improved also.

Coach O eats canes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Jaquan is a pre-season all american. He is a top safety for sure.

Coach O eats paint chips buddy.

you can analyze it all you want to make yourself feel better (because it seems like you're trying to convince yourself as well as LSU fans) but the fact is miami is way overrated, and you are in for a huge disappointment.

Plus Miami might be closer to what LSU was on D last year and LSU might be closer to what Miami was on D last year.
We had a great secondary last year with some good LBs and depleted DL but good off the edge. Miami was probably more well rounded last year. LSU is much more well rounded this year. There not a weakness on that D. They will have to create some. I just believe LSU will have a easier time finding weakness in the Miami D even with our new offense. It's not like it's a new OC coming in. They are all used to one another and if you think just bc Steve hasn't been a full time OC that he isn't very good at it, you'll be completely wrong.
In the scrimmages the ball is in everyone's hands. More than 10 guys touch the ball in a scrimmage. I promise you that he's going to mix it up well and spread the ball around to many different players to throw Miami off. That happens to be a strength of Burrow as well. He's great at manipulating a defense with his body language. That's what most good defense's rely on is what the QB is telling them.
Well they don't have much tape of him nor will they be able to read him like they would the typical QB. Rosier on the other hand wasn't very good at this last year and we have plenty of tape on him. So unless he's changed what he naturally does then LSU D might have a good night.
You can find pros and cons to both teams. It's going to be a good game and I'm going to enjoy watching it and that's basically it. The outcome is going to be the outcome no matter what we think or feel. Good Luck! Miami's going to need some!!

Coach O is trash quite honestly. Diaz has been great for us so far.

Chadwick, you are upvoting you're own comments. Seems like you are trying to make yourself feel better.

I feel like LSU's offensive weaknesses play into Miami's strengths
but as much as this pains me to say- I don't think Orgeron's a dummy. Not a particularly innovative guy, and lacking on a lot of fronts, yes.
But he brought in a creative OC in Canada, then ran him off. I think there was personality issues, but I also think there was a difference in philosophy.
O didn't want some weird gimmicky offense, he wanted a standard offense that was capable of passing to complement the run. A scheme that will focus on talent across the board, and able to attack a weakness on the other side.
I think we'll only see LSU pass a lot in 2 scenarios:
1) we get behind and have to play catchup
or
2) we establish the run so forcefully that Miami has to commit extra guys to stop it, and it opens up some easy play-action routes.
1 is trouble for us, and you'd be laying in wait to jump routes.
2 is trouble for you, and if we can click (a big if), could open the game up in a bad way for you.
I don't think we challenge Miami's strong point intentionally, without a need to do so.

I'll be here post game to check in on you. You don't know football. Clear from your responses. @Chadwick

I agree. Like I said our interior Dline will play a big role in the outcome of this game. How's the interior of your O line? I think I read that the O line was pretty strong there.

Your QB is terrible dog shite. I don’t know how Miami is going to move the ball.
